Hatchimals Crystal Flyers Flying Fairy

This is the best gift for my 5 year old. Literally flies all over the house and even when she hits off the walls floors ceiling etc she hasn't broken yet and she has been through it this fairy lol indestructible. Highly recommend

Absolutely brilliant toy my little niece loves. We do struggle with guiding it unless it’s low on charge. However, there is quite a bit of power in them so indoor use is better. Ours in the garden on a windless day went up to the height of the lampposts, and down the street (200m) in less than a minute, with it expertly weaving around the lampposts on the way. Luckily it came down once it sensed someone underneath jumping up for it but boy it was impressive. Does hurt if it crashes into you so I’d say 7+.

Brought this as a present for my Granddaughter and she absolutely loved it. Mind you, all the adults at the party thought it was brilliant as well. It is very impressive, colourful and appears sparkly. It worked straight out of the box flying around the room with everyone keeping it up in the air by putting their hand underneath it. How long the charge lasts I cannot say but it is USB charged so requires adult supervision for younger children. It is a bit flimsy in one respect but you wouldn’t get a heavy item able to fly. How long it will last I don’t know but overall I have marked everything as four stars as it is early days in fairy flight!

My daughter loves this flying fairy. Even my nephews get excited about it. I would just say, it is quite powerful, so you need to supervise. You wouldn’t want it hitting your tv or ornaments. It’s great fun though!

Lovely gift but very fragile would not recommend for younger child

What a load of rubbish and a disappointment for a 5 year old Christmas present. All it does is fly to the nearest wall and hit itself, fall and go off. We've got a large living room with high ceiling so even though I've read the reviews saying the same thing I thought we won't have an issue. How wrong I was. Don't waste your money and a child's hopes

I bought this for my granddaughter. She loved it. It works so well, we had so much fun with it on Xmas day. I would definitely recommend unless your kids don't like noisy or flying toys. It does hurt if it hits you though so need to be really careful that it is played with responsibly. Think us adults had more fun with it than the kids to be fair!

This is such a great product. Was concerned the price point was too high, but soooo worth it when it arrives! Battery life is decent and seeing my little one light up watching it dance through the air was wonderful. Absolute game changer . I would say to be careful as if it hits you it can hurt since the blades go super quick. Almost took out our Christmas tree. But great item

If you get this it is important to know that it's very unpredictable! You can make it go higher by placing your hand or an object directly underneath. You can potentially change the speed at which it flies by how fast you move your hand in its path. It is semi random in the direction it goes, it seems kind of influenced by the direction in which you place your hand under it in order to make it fly higher. So if you slide your hand from the right to the left, it will often head to the left. But sometimes it just goes up or in other directions. If you need to grab it to redirect it's trajectory, grab it from the side around the legs. It you try to grab from the bottom it just flies out of reach. If you grab the legs, it's less likely to hit you with the wings, which spin really fast! It does hurt a little if it runs into you but it's not exceptionally painful or too awful. The unpredictable nature of it's flight and the fact that it does hurt a bit and frequently crashes into things (including you) makes it a tad terrifying. If it does crash, it will need to be turned off and back on again in order to reset it. Otherwise, it just blinks at you and won't fly. However scary and unpredictable it may be, my toddler, adult kid, husband and myself all laugh hysterically (mainly because the toddler's laugh is infectious) as this crazy toy crashes all around the house. It's easy to recharge (comes with the cord, standard USB), pretty sturdy considering how many times it's run into my walls, soft enough that it hasn't damaged my walls or my family, and my kids love it! So all in all, I call it a win!
