Perfect for Power Users
After replacing other gaming mice after just months, the M690 PRO holds up to the test of time. This is used at least 8 hours a day and still as functional as the first day. Super comfortable to hold, and lasts for longest session without worrying about battery.

What a bummer
Update at the bottom. I definitely love RedDragon products. I own more than just this mouse. When it first came in and I saw the matte finish, I knew I would run into this situation but I wanted to be skeptical. I had a white matte finish mouse a while back and had the same situation. I've had this mouse since March so not even 2 months, and the color is already fading away. I have two. One is for work and the other one is for gaming. The first picture is the matte finish one and the other one is a glossy finish and I've had that longer and it's in perfect condition. This mouse just throws off my whole aesthetic. It is very reliable though as far as speed and accuracy for sure just like my other mouse. Very fast. Just not sure why they have to make this one matte. Update: Mike from this company's support team has been reaching out and sent a new mouse. He's been on top of it. I certainly appreciate good customer service. Thank you.

Too much friction. Doesn't glide easy.
(edit) after figuring out the pads on the bottom had clear stickers that had to be removed. It glides fine now. The rest of the review stands. I had a razer mouse for years. While I wasn't a fan of how it would randomly stop working. It felt nice and was a good mouse overall. I get this mouse and it barely moves on my mouse pad. It feels like it's dragging across sandpaper. Or a sticky surface. It's rather hard to use. Even just using it for windows apps. It's terrible. And forget gaming. I tried apex and it was a joke. I do NOT recommend this mouse to anyone let alone any sort of gamer. Another note. The batter loses 10% charge per hour so far on my system. That's terrible. So I have to keep it plugged in. Or at least always have the dumb cord available all the time so I can plug it in when it dies. And when it's charging. What's the point of RGB if it's going to bypass user settings while charging. Software is buggy when changing colors. It's not a good mouse. I'm definitely picky. But my $10 wireless Logitech mouse performs miles above this mouse. 🤷♀️

I will never go back to any other brand
I love this mouse so much! Battery life is great! changing the colors and the options they have on their program is amazing, it is very customizable! Works wonderfully and moves with ease on my computer mat! And I just have to mention the charging cable it comes it, for someone with texture issues it is soft and almost feels like satin! The quality is there! You can tell Redragon cares about their products and want to give the best products available to their customers, and they did for me! I would highly recommend this mouse to go with a white computer build or desk top set up!

Software Doesnt Work and Cant Charge with USB-C
Pros: 1. Mouse is comfortable for a palm grip 2. Mouse has more buttons and features than others in same price range (logitech mice at least) Cons: 1. Mouse software doesnt work. I installed the correct software based on my mouse model, but after running the software-nothing happens. Red Dragon logo shows in system tray, but software cannot be opened. Looked up this issue and found multiple others reporting the same issue. Without the software you cannot map buttons to your own, set dpi, or set rgb. 2. Mouse will not charge with a usbc to usbc cable. It will charge with a usb-a to usb-c (which it comes with). This means a slower charging time, especially compared to if you could use rechargeable alkaline batteries 3. The default sleep modes on the mouse are sleep after 1 minute and deep sleep after 8 minutes; this is not a good setup for a mouse branded for gaming. The mouse will experience delays when sleep occurs, which will be less likely if actively gaming, but happens more often with reading while using the pc 4. The dpi buttons adjust dpi in larger than useful increments (which coupled with unworking software renders you having to use a slower or faster dpi than you would like 5. The "triple shot" thumb button is too far forward to be reached without extending The hassle of a return for a mouse that at least functions as good as an equally priced normal logitech mouse (not for gaming) means I wont be returning it, but I will not be buying more Red Dragon in the future.
