Replacement Rechargeable Battery Pack PURE Charge PAK A1 for PURE ONE Mi Radio

Pure products are undoubtedly great quality but it really annoys me that Pure generally don't supply the battery with their units or at least give the option to buy a unit/battery kit at a slightly discounted price. Anyway, they don't so to have a genuinely portable product you need to buy a charge pak and I believe this seller offers the cheapest available. Firstly, it arrived quickly and came in a jiffy bag and the battery itself was boxed (mine didn't come with any instructions but it doesn't really need any). I dropped it in the radio and the battery level meter indicated 3 bars of charge immediately and the radio fired up - a good start. I'd read that a couple of customers had had issues with their units not charging so I tried mine and all was well. After the charging had completed (not sure how long that took) I used the radio on battery only for a few days and noted how long the battery lasted until it was exhausted. So far it's lasted 11 hours. The battery level indicator has no bars left and is flashing to tell me it needs charging but the radio is still operating normally and has done in for at least 30 mins. I think I read somewhere that the original Pure charge pak lasts upto 18 hours. As its twice the price of this unit but doesn't last twice as long this works out to be good value. I'll keep an eye on how it performs long term and report any issue should they occur. So far though, very much recommended.

Although this battery is much cheaper than the branded version it is performing very well. As instructed I made sure that it was fully charged before I used my digital radio off the mains and the battery gave many hours of radio before needing a recharge - in fact it still had 2 bars up when I put it on charge again. I have another Pure brand digital radio which takes 4 AA batteries and they last far less hours, making it very costly to run when not plugged into the mains. Yes, this rechargeable pack is a very good purchase.

A good replacement battery.No instructions but you must initially charge for 24 hours with radio plugged in but not switched on.When charging for future use either do it overnight or for 6-8 hours. I use this radio in bathroom except when showering and on bedside table mainly but can take anywhere round house or outdoors if i want.The length you get out of battery time depends on volume and usage.I have been getting around ten hours use so far which does me as i use mainly first thing in morning and at least i dont have to keep getting batteries for it.This battery pack does the biz.

Fitted this to radio very easily; it was already partially charged (3 bars), so I knew immediately it worked. Left it to charge for 18 hours and it seems to power the radio very satisfactorily. So far I've only used it for about an hour on battery, but it worked very well. Whether it will prove as durable (after repeated charging cycles) as an official 'Pure' battery, which is considerably more expensive even taking into account delivery is 'free' for it, only time will tell, but so far it seems pretty good and I am very satisfied.

Shocked when I bought my Pure digital Radio to find that a battery was more expensive than the radio itself, however, after purchasing a replacement battery from Amazon it is money well spent. The battery holds it charge and gives hours of quality sound. I recommend highly any Pure owner to purchase this at a very reasonable price.

This battery was delivered in super fast time and cost less than half the price of the Pure branded version. I was slightly sceptical about how well it would work but it does the job excellently- easy to install, no problem taking on charge and lasts about over 10 hours between charges. If you've bought a Pure One Mi this battery is perfect, in particular as the Pure version costs as much as the radio itself. Highly recommended.

I was a bit cautious having read a couple of adverse reviews. The battery pack has worked well over the last 2 years, being in use anything between 10 minutes and an hour a day - recommended.

Bought 2 of these. Tried in radio. One worked some of the time. The other only if I pushed it really hard into the connected. Luckily I have a genuine battery and my brother in-law is an electrical engineer. On inspection he noticed there are 5 or 6 tiny wire clips that should slot in to hold battery. Looking at the genuine battery these are all nice and beat and straight. On these batteries they are all over the place. This stops the battery being held in place correctly (very loose) one was worse than the other. He suggested a small piece of cardboard under the back cover. Hey ho that worked!. I should have sent them back but I guess you get what you pay for. Would I purchase again.... NO! I also now worry just how safe these are whilst charging? As yet no problems there.

Der Akku wurde zum Betrieb des PURE ONE mi gekauft, um im Urlaub unabhängig von einer Steckdose Radio hören zu können. Passgenauigkeit: Akkufach auf, einlegen, nach links schieben, Akkufach zu - passt. Nichts wackelt oder wird übermäßig beansprucht. Kapazität: Ausreichend für mehrere Stunden Betrieb UKW/DAB. Genaue Betriebszeit habe ich nicht gemessen, ist aber für mich völlig ausreichend. Die Ladung des Akkus erfolgt durch das Radio bei angeschlossener 5V-Versorgung.

Wie schon in der Werbung versprochen Akku einsetzen Deckel zu und dann vergessen. Muss ca. alle 3 Tage ans Netz. Ladezeit ca. 2,5 h. Null Probleme

Es besteht zwar weiterhin die Frage nach dem Sinn eines Akkupacks aber an sich ein günstiger Preis für ein gutes Produkt. Wäre wieder meine Wahl!!!
