CSI Bathware Straight Grab Bar Bath, 36" (Pack of 2),1.25" Diameter Matte Black

We've not had the bar installed yet as the bathroom is still under construction but the company CSI was great to deal with. They received the order from Amazon and the delivery date was shown but I got the product 5 days early!!! I'll send another review when the bar is installed. UPDATE: The bars are installed, the quality is great and they look really nice! Our contractor reinforced the wall (we had a total gut of our bathroom) so they are very sturdy! Love this product!!!

So far it's good.

Installed for my mother’s tub and she took a bath as soon as we put it up! She is so happy to have the 22” length.

Easy to install well made.

Prior to ordering I located the wall studs with a stud finder to determine length of bar I would order. Like most homes my wall studs are on 16" centers. It just happened the location of the studs were perfect to allow the bar to be on a slant like I wanted therefore I ordered the 18" bar. I was able to utilize two holes on each handle flange to drive the provided Phillips head screws into the studs. I drilled a pilot hole half the screw diameter for each screw as Phillips head screws are easy to strip. Two screws for each handle flange is more than enough support. The handle doesn't budge. I found no scratches or chipped paint as some folks described. The flange covers were easy to install and remove. I recommend this product.Update: After a couple uses found that I was having trouble with my hand loosing a grip due to how smooth the paint is on the bar. I purchased from Amazon a roll of Fusion black silicone grip tape and wrapped the bar. That did the trick. If you think you want to wrap the bar I suggest wrapping before installing the bar.

I liked it because of the easy installation and the cuteness of it.

Sturdy -- easy install -- great look!

We had these installed adjacent to our toilets and also horizontally at the front of the shower and vertically at the rear of the shower. It's now much safer.

One review I read said the paint made it difficult to move the cosmetic ring. Not on the one I received. It is very well made and rock solid. The cosmetic rings have a very simple and effective locking system to keep them in place. The bar is exactly as you would expect and when properly mounted (instructions included) gives a great sense of security.I would definitely recommend this grab bar.
