LED Toilet Seat
I love this led lighted toilet seat. It is well made, easy to install & I love that it adds light to the bathroom at night. I bought it because we received on as a gift, loved it and wanted one for the other bathroom. Lowe’s was sold out but we found it on Amazon for a better price. Worth every penny!

This is #3
I like the quality of the seat. The light is a bonus. I would buy it without the light. Closes without slaming. Easy to remove and clean. It’s different from my first one where you just pulled the seat towards you to remove. This now has to be unlocked and lifted off. I liked the old design better for removal but I still like the seat.

Easy install and fits
Previously my BF's bathroom had a cracked seat that was getting worse and pinching my butt/thighs every time I'd get up after doing my business. He's not a very handy type of guy when it comes to things like this (unless it's computers and software), his father passed away 6 years ago, and his mom didn't see the need to replace the seat (I don't know how she doesn't have the same problem as me! Or she kept it to herself...). So, I took it upon myself to replace it because along with the pinching, I was paranoid the whole thing would split completely soon. Originally, I was looking for an antimicrobial one, but I realized it's really not that hard to use a Clorox wipe on it every now and then if that's what I was worried about. Stumbled on this listing and the Delta version. Both are basically the same thing, but IIRC, the Delta's light is 9 hours on instead of 10. I thought it was funny and interesting that they made toilet seats with nightlights nowadays (where were these in the 90s when I was little?!). Installation took me less than 20 mins, including removing the old seat and cleaning up the area around the old hinges. The instructions were minimal, but it's mostly common sense. I was surprised that the light has three intensities: High (battery lasts 6 mos), Medium (I'm assuming the battery would last 10mos as instructions only listed for High & Low), & Low (battery lasts 12 mos). I put it on Medium at first and it's a nice glow, but my "MIL" (basically) and BF got a kick out of the nightlight so I changed it to High. Battery pack is easy to remove and replace, but the power/intensity button is a bit stiff to press. Both Lid & Seat are slow close. My seat closes like it's going to slam at first and then catches itself and slowly descends. I'm not sure if that's what others experience too, or if I maybe need to tighten the hinges? As long it doesn't slam, I'm pretty okay with it. The seat is comfortable too, haha. The hinge latches are truly "Easy Latch", once the anchors are installed and seat is positioned properly, you rotate each lock ring on the hinges counterclockwise and then close the caps. Oh, also I put this on a Elongated Toto toilet and it fits. I kind of want one for my house now...

Mixed improvements over previous version...
Had the previous revision from this one where the quick release slid off away from the toilet. Broke one of the tabs by accident and had to replace with this [updated] version. A. Can't use previous hardware to install. No issue with that. B. You will break your fingers if the installation hardware doesnt thread properly the first time and you reach under to try and grip the nut while using an electric screw driver.. Yeah, it'll literally break your fingers, so use a plain old screw driver or hold the back with channel locks or something. C. To do the quick release, you will need the strength of 20 min all having eaten their spinach. Im a strong dude.. I fuddled with the quick release locks and tried to pull straight up but it didnt budge. I took the whole thing off and inspected it. I couldnt get the quick release out even with it all disassembled. Finally, figuring I could just return it if I broke it on install, I assembled it back on the toilet, unlocked the quick-release, and pulled up with all my might! I mean "you're about to get a hernia" power! Finally it snapped up and off. I inspected it, but it seemed fine (didnt break). I snapped it back on and locked it down. Although the upgrades like the battery caddy and light lens all being one unit is nice. The lugs holding the unit down are a pain to install. Pulling the unit up to clean will be a mixed bag. Overall the seat is sturdy, and the light works well!

Overpriced poorly designed seat
For the amount of money I spent on this toilet seat. Such a disappointment. They give you these plastic paper like things to screw the fasteners for the toilet in. Well, in 6 months they started to fail. So you go and sit on it and it moves. Not what I want in my toilet seat. Shame on you Kohler. My bathroom is all Kohler from my heated bubble jet tub(it’s heavenly) to my memoirs sink and toilet, shower head and faucet, plus the kitchen. So disappointed in Kohler.

More a gimmick than a useful light
I paid extra for this toilet seat, but am quite disappointed. It was easy enough to install and fits the toilet okay. The soft close top works as it should. However, the light seems useless to us. It makes a soft blue glow, but it is not bright enough, even on the high setting. Therefore, we're still using the motion lights we had before. I feel like I wasted my money. I probably won't even replace the batteries when they stop working. I could have bought a comparable seat without a light for much less.

Easy to install. Needs batteries to activate the light

It's Nice, Get IT in less than 2.3!
After 2.3 hours of looking for a quality lighted toilet seat, [yes, I measure time in .1 increments] I finally found the right one to elevate my cheap yet new swiss madison toilet/seat in guest bath. Sturdy, nice subtle lighting (3 levels, this is the highest setting), not gawdy, great lines, perfect aligned fit, well-packed, and above all, a quasi-bribing comfort splurge for my man who works around the clock (outside of his day job) on my 1920's money pit. I didn't want to spend so much, but it was so well received, I may buy another!

This a great slow close toilet seat. The seat is rounded so, very comfortable. It fits well and doesn't budge. Easy to install. Seems like good quality and not cheap looking. I already had a slow close toilet seat but I wanted the quick release for easy cleaning, and the night light. The light is a wonderful feature but I wish it were brighter. As for the quick release, I couldn't get the seat off and I was considering removing it and starting over gain to see if something was wrong. I finally got it off by pulling as hard as I could so that was a little disappointing because it is supposed to makes things easier for us, not harder. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, just a few details that I think should be improved on.

Avoid at all cost. I ordered two if these a year ago. The light has failed on both, within two weeks of each other. DO NOT BUY!

With regret we now have a slightly used toilet seat. Prior to purchasing this unit i contacted Kohler and they confirmed that the seat would fit ourRialto® Round-front Toilet K-3386. Until the anchors would not fit into the holes. We then advised Kohler who let us know we could purchase the anchors for about 1/3 the cost of the whole toilet. Which we did. :(. However, the kit that arrived was incomplete with washers and bolts. of course they were happy to take it back and replace it with another incomplete set. the Seat is lovely if it doesn't fall off the toilet. I guess we should have hired a real plumber to install rather than a handy man. In the end our toilet had an enlarged hole on one side and nothing could make it sit tight. Anyone want a partially used toilet seat? Kidding.
