It is effective.
I was amazed how much it compacted the bin sacks down. I am a 5ft3 petite 75 year old.The first one arrived damaged but it was very quickly replaced.

Don’t bother. You can push rubbish down in the bin with a gloved hand than pay £15.

This is a great item that comes in two pieces (household and dustbin size) and really is worth it. An actual useful/practical gadget.
