AOSU 2K Add-on Camera, Requires WirelessCam/SolarCam HomeBase (NOT Doorbell HomeBase)

EXCELLENT product and service! Reason; I'm an older person who purchased this product after reviewing several other similar products. Reviews were that this was the best security camera in its class and the easiest to setup! They were not lying! I setup the system myself by following the directions step by step, easy peasy! Black Friday I ordered another camera to make it a 3 camera set. Right out of the box I had issues, I called the help line and spoke to a "Josh". Very helpful but we could not connect to base, it quit pairing at 98%. He walked me through it at least 3 times, than said he'd put in a ticket for the camera. That's when Cora contacted me (AOSU Support Team member). PROFESSIONALISM all the way. Could not do enough to correct the situation, immediately replaced the unit (actually arrived today Dec. 28. Waiting for unit to warm up before attempting to connect to base). If you want the best security system at a reasonable price, please buy this unit...you will not be disappointed! Picture quality, including night vision is excellent. You can adjust the cameras perimeter yourself. Microphone is loud and clear for answering door without having to actually go and answer it. Setup is one of the easiest there is and if you run into trouble, you can always get immediate support. ALARM is loud enough to scare and porch pirates or unwanted intruders away (though you might tick off some of your neighbours!). A couple of my friends have already purchased this unit on the fact of quality, pricing and the quick response of Support Team members (an actual human!) who really do care about their product and customer satisfaction! You truly won't be sorry!

Camera system is so easy to set up and delivers great picture. The battery lasted over a year with just normal use (not continuous viewing from my phone). Connecting additional camera to base hub is a breeze. Camera with stands freezing temperatures and wet weather. Zoom and picture quality are great. Very well made. Motion detection works as claimed.

After about a year of great use, two of my four cameras suddenly stopped connecting. I reached out to Aosu, and they made the entire process extremely easy and completely hassle-free. They quickly replaced my system, and now everything is working perfectly again. Excellent customer service and a company that truly stands behind its products. Very happy with my experience and would absolutely recommend Aosu.

The cameras are working well for me, and at a great price. I had a technical issue with one of my purchased cameras and I utilized the help portal in the AOSU android app to get help. I received a quick online response - solid suggestions for troubleshooting. The issue was determined to be in the device, and the AOSU support team shipped me a replacement with no cost. I'm very happy with the devices I purchased- I'm very very happy with the support and the professionalism of the support team. Thanks.

I had a week to play with these cameras and I am very happy with them. They are responsive and quick to capture motion, the night vision is excellent, and for the money/value, they beat the competition. Fast/easy to install and set up, and not having to pay a cloud vendor for storage is great. There is however a few caveats I noted after a week of using. Caveats 1. The motion detection (even when turned up higher in settings) does not appear to go past 30-40 feet. This means that when I had it on one side of my house, it had a great view of the whole yard, but would not capture motion when people were on the opposite end of the yard. I ended up moving the camera closer to the areas where people could enter the house (facing the opposite direction) so it would capture the video of people coming/leaving. Be strategic and test all motion during installation. You may end up changing locations due to this. 2. In areas of high motion (like where my kids were playing all day long), the camera was all day long capturing 1 minute segments of video. The battery dropped from 100% to 70% after just a half day. There are a few options you can do such as putting the camera to sleep (but then you capture no video during that period) or hard-wiring the camera to a power source. I ended up ordering a solar panel to resolve this issue. Pros: 1. Price 2. Ease of setup/installation 3. Aesthetics 4. Night vision (It captured every attempt I made to circumvent the night vision motion detection at night when entering the screened in door or walking around the house). 5. Image quality 6. Configurable zones of motion (this is amazing so your cameras don't get set off by people walking, neighbors vehicles, etc) 7. Base station records a LOT of video before looping. 8. The AI alerts are impressive, and just overall features (talk, sound alerts) etc. Overall I am 100% pleased with this setup. Anytime you buy tech, there are always minor caveats that have to be worked through. For areas of high motion, I recommend hard wiring or solar panels. My other cameras are still at 100% after being installed for a week. They get less motion, just when cars leave or people enter the home.
