Thick & Sturdy
I liked that these two rods had two ways that they could be attached to the wall without screws & nails. It was thicker than I expected because I needed it to hang a light weight, voile, cafe valance - the hole in the voile was a squeeze on the thick rod, but hung well. You can also use the rod to hang shower curtains. Quite versatile.

Excellent for hanging clothes in a small alcove.
The media could not be loaded. I have had these poles for over 7 months now. We couldn't fit a wardrobe in our sons bedroom and there was just this small space. I decided to buy these to hang up my 13 and 6 year Olds clothes. Initially with just a handful of t shirts and tracksuit bottoms, the poles stayed up. But when we started adding heavier winter items like coats and thick hoodies etc, one of the sides would slip. We decided to screw into the plastic to ensure they stayed up. As you can see from the photo and video, we have a lot hanging up and whilst it isn't straight on the middle, either haven't come off the wall. I would recommend these for small places like this. I think with how much weight these had taken before falling down (before the screws) it would be useful as a shower curtain, net curtains for example. They are light and I felt they would be flimsy, but they are doing the job. I feel they are great value for money.

Better similar products available
I thought all tension rods would be much the same, but I find these ones have a little too much give in them and often fall down.Ones I've bought previously did not require the stick on rests and stayed in place for >5 years without ever moving. Wish I could remember where I bought them!
