Very easy to setup on any machine or OS
Very easy to setup on any machine or OS.I've plugged it into my Rasberry Pi 3, Windows 7 desktop and Windows 10 laptop and they were all simply plug-and-play; it gets recognized as a keyboard.It scans very quickly; no issues with having to re-scan. The beep it fairly loud, which is nice but I'm not sure if you can adjust it.The stand is a little light however, if you were to pick it up with any real force then the base will move. It could do with being weighted. Everything else is absolutely fine.

Does the job.
Not used this much yet, but it worked out of the box and appears to be well made. It identified and read all the barcodes I have presented to it.

Straight out of the box I loved the Vcall USB Automatic Sensing Scan Wired Laser Barcode Scanner Bar Code Reader with Handsfree Adjustable Stand.The hand grip of the scanner feels very comfortable, using it by hand all day would not be an issue. The included stand is sturdy enough to stand on its own but if necessary you do have the added bonus of being able to screw the base down to the work top if required.I was very pleased to find this scanner is literally plug and play as I personally found the instructions to be a bit confusing. In the end I literally plugged one end of the cable into the scanner head and the other end of the cable into the USB port on my computer. I then went onto Amazon and made sure the cursor was flashing in the search box before pressing the trigger on the scanner to read the bar code. Low and behold the item I just scanned came up on my computer as a listing on Amazon. It couldn't be simpler. I tried it also on a spread sheet too and it entered the bar cose number without a problem.I can now scan stock for inventory purposes as well as checking online, at the pull of the trigger, any item with a bar code.Add to all this the price and you have a very affordable, good quality barcode reader you can use for what ever reason you desire.
