I have been looking for a big tea cup for a while now and have seen some lovely ones on Amazon, but I couldn't justify spending the money on them as they were too expensive for a tea cup.I was actually browsing Amazon for a particular cup I have seen elsewhere, but instead came upon these lovely cups.At first I thought they couldn't be much good for £5.99 each, but I looked at the buyer reviews and it gave me the push I needed to buy them. I bought the cup in red and one in green too.When they arrived I still wasn't hopeful of the quality of the cups, but knew I could return them if I didn't like them.Boy was I surprised when I opened the boxes. (They came individually packed).The colours and designs are gorgeous, the cups are heavy and solid and I love them.They are so lovely that I have them hanging on hooks where everyone can see them!

Beautiful cups but be careful how you open the box 🤔 I bought two … opened one and shook it gently to get the polystyrene out,came out fine 😊 did the same with the next one but didn’t realise it was upside down … fell out and smashed in pieces 😢😢😢 my fault entirely … ordered another one and will be more careful when I open it 🙈😊

The mugs are lovely and look better than the photos. The colours are vibrant and the patterns are completely different to anything else in my cupboard. They're a good weight and the handle is big enough to hold with my knuckles touching the cup body. I also like how my other hand can fit around the mug. It has a bulbous body that is just right for this. On all four, the paint work is great, especially as they're hand painted. However, there is one part of the pattern on the navy and red mug that doesn't look that good though. It's the yellow upside down semi-circles. Two have odd shaped blotches and they've all gone over the top of the red and green paint, making it look messy.Before use, I put one through the dishwasher and it came out perfectly fine. I made a cup of tea and it was good to drink from. The sides have a graduating thickness that is smooth and comfortable to rest against my lips. Next, I tried out soup in a mug. It did well in the microwave, but I didn't find it comfortable to hold with one hand only. The overall weight caused pain on my fourth finger and in the end, I had to hold the mug underneath, by the base.

I love these tea cups, really good quality and super fast delivery. I'm going to use for making little steam puddings.
