My first retinol and I won’t change it.

I’m not joking you when I say this little thing has some might. The first time I used it I couldn’t believe how soft my skin was the next morning, baby bottom soft. I got it to take a break from prescription tretinoin during the summer, give my skin a summer break;) because my skin gets a little more sensitive and dry when I use tretinoin for a prolonged period of time and though this is not as strong as tretinoin, it’s very moisturizing and lightly exfoliating my skin without the dryness and patchiness. I love, love, love it but I hate the smell. The only way I can describe it as it smells like onions to me. It has that kind of pungent smell, first time I used it I thought it’s gone bad but I tell that the benefits outweigh the smell. Totally worth it. I bought a second one as I’m almost done with the first and it’s dropped in price by $7 so I’m happy about that. Some people mentioned that it’s very small but I only use a pea size and it lasts me over a month if used everyday which is pretty good deal to me. I highly recommend for anyone with sensitive skin and as a great substitute for tretinoin or just a substitute for when your skin needs a little break from harsh retinoids. Btw, I keep mine in the fridge to preserve the potency.

Smells a bit like spring onion (no idea why lol) but it works an absolute treat. Now using it every day and my skin is less pigmented with less acne areas. Love it. Will buy the stronger one next time.

Diese Creme war für mich der absolute Einstieg in die Retinol-Welt und ich bin unglaublich froh, dass ich sie ausprobiert habe. Wie ich ja schon bei meinen anderen Bewertungen erzählt habe, hat Retinol meine Haut während der Menopause praktisch gerettet, als sie plötzlich mit Rötungen total verrücktgespielt hat. Für den Anfang ist die COSRX The Retinol 0.1 Creme einfach perfekt. Mit 0,1 % ist sie super mild dosiert, sodass sich die Haut langsam an den Wirkstoff gewöhnen kann. Ich hatte hier absolut keine Hautreizungen, kein Brennen oder Schuppen. Die Kombination mit Hyaluronsäure spendet zusätzlich richtig gut Feuchtigkeit, sodass die Haut morgens total prall, weich und erholt aussieht. Meine Tube ist jetzt fast zu Ende und die Creme hat genau das getan, was sie sollte: Meine Haut optimal vorbereiten. Mein eigentliches Ziel war es nämlich, danach auf die stärkere M. Asam Retinol-Linie umzusteigen. Das habe ich jetzt auch gemacht und der Übergang hat dank dieser tollen Vorarbeit von COSRX absolut problemlos geklappt. Für jeden, der nach den Wechseljahren mit der Haut kämpft und sich zum ersten Mal an Retinol herantraut, ist diese Creme eine ganz dicke Empfehlung!
