Best bat in softball, but not durable!!!
This is the best bat in fastpitch softball, but it is not durable. My daughter plays 12u/14u and it lasted 2 months. The first issue was a wobble at the connection. The second issue was cracking on the barrel. For a $300+ bat I wish it lasts more than a couple months. Easton does not seem to be making the newer models more durable either. But, this is what you get for such a hot bat. Out of the wrapper it has pop and needs minimal break in. You almost need to consider buying 2 of them (or a different brand) and use one for practices and one for games. Or, use one when you’re sending the other one in for your one time warranty replacement. You won’t be disappointed with the power or the sound of the bat but sooner or later the bat will break.Warranty: the process was very smooth and quick. The only issue I had was they want you to use fedex or ups for shipping. From Hawaii it can be expensive. UPS initially quoted me at $60 and there was no guarantee that Easton was gonna accept the warranty claim. After the price shock, UPS said their cheaper option was $19+. I’m thinking USPS would be cheaper and will still find its way there. Anyway, new bat looks very nice! Hope it lasts 🤞.

It’s good while it’s good.
It’s good while it’s good. I purchased the ghost bat for my daughter in fall per the advice of her batting coach. Unfortunately, it’s already cracked during spring season of the same year. I had heard that they’re not the most durable bats but I thought she’s at least get a fulll year out of it. Either way it’s definitely not the most durable bat.

Definately adds pop
No bat can make a person a "better" batter, but just like a golf club it can add distance and pop if struck well. This is what this bat does. I have two daughters that use this bat and it has most definitely affected the pop in the ball when hit. I can also state that when I use it to hit fly balls to them I don't need to swing as hard to get it out there as far. My only worry is that one of them will crack. One daughter has had hers almost a year now and the other about 3 weeks. So far, so good.

Is the GO TO bat on this 18U team
I purchased this bat before for my 6 ft, power hitting, 17 year old. She loved the even balance, the sound, and how it performed right out of the wrapper. Second use, Grand Slam, so gave her more confidence. Took very good care of it, didn’t use against batting machines, didn’t leave out in the cold or in xtreme heat, but did play year round through a Dome league. It went “dead” two weeks short of a year, ( it started to separate at the seam, which happened to two of her teammates, same make/year/ model) but Easton stood by the warranty right away. I purchased the same bat while we waited for the replacement, and it's performing just as well as the first one. The replacement has arrived & is packed away until games start up for her college team. She still loves the feel & sound. At least 5 girls on this 18U own one.

Great pop out the box, but not durable
My 14U daughter loves this bat. Definitely had great pop out of the box and for a solid 6 months thereafter. Bought in August 2021 and now - March 2022 - there’s a crack down the barrel. The dilemma is that now that the season is heating up, I can’t afford to wait months for the replacement bat to get to me - or to even roll the dice on it, hoping it gets to me sooner (as I see some wait months and others have received a new bat in 2 weeks). I now may be forced to go buy a new bat (maybe even a Ghost, given that she DOES love it), and do the warranty process as a back up.I’m not a bat expert, but I don’t think it should be commonplace and generally accepted that a $400+ bat, used properly, won’t make it a year. These reviews make it seem like it’s just the accepted cost of doing business with Easton for the Ghost (ie, your daughter will love it, but there will be multiple warranty claims within the year). Hard for me to make sense out of that . . . but she does LOVE the Ghost.

Not sure of this yet
I bought this Ghost bat and the first time My daughter used it ,the top rubber part of the bat broke 🤦🏻 .. so I had to send it back.. For being over a $300 bat ..I don’t think that rubber piece on the top of the bat should Break off , on a first time use 🤷🏽.. so we will see how it goes second time around.. Amazon did send me a replacement.. thanks

I have never had an order ship and arrive faster than this one did!
It's to early right now but time will tell the durability and how well it will hold out, and performs. We are expecting and hoping for the best!

Power hitters shatter most bats - this one included
My daughter is a 15 year old playing 18 Gold level and she is a classic power hitter. She has broken Louisville Sluggers, Mizunos and DeMarini bats. We never use them at cages or cold weather, she is just so strong that the composites fracture after about a year. The Ghost was holding up well until this past weekend, one week short of 1 year from the purchase date - we've started a warranty claim of course. Here's the damage, it appears to be simple delamination but the cracks run through to the core.

Fragile Barrell
When intact, they are a great feeling bat and the ball pops. Unfortunately, they do not last.2 for 2 with Easton Ghost Bats. The first bat cracked after 1 season and the latest one developed a crack after only 3 innings work. The team bat, also the same model has also developed cracks. All bats were properly broken in before game use and have been used by a university ball team. This is not a matter of abuse, they are just poorly constructed.

Cracked bat
Daughter had used it for a few games this summer after I bought it for her in April and it cracked in 2 spots. Would not buy again.

Bat Cracks After Just a Few Swings
This bat cracks after just a few swings. Easton does replace them, but you have to pay the shipping each time and it takes many weeks to get a new one. We have had two replacements now and each one has cracked with the first 50 swings. All the swings were from our 105 lb, 5' 2" daughter, done inside a building and off of tees. Beautiful bat with fantastic pop, but they are poor quality. Do NOT buy!
