Fitted perfectly in our CIFIAL mixer tab. Sturdy construction. Tight seal with our proprietary ;-) hose fitting. We had airlock in our gravity-fed supply to our bathroom sinks & cistern that had almost stopped the water flow. I used this fitting to attach the hose to the tap so I could blast mains-pressure water through the pipes and force the air bubbles out and into the water tank in the loft. Taps are now running at full speed again!

Worked superbly with my square kitchen faucet to enable the use of a garden hose. Easy to use and connect , still gives great water pressure with zero leakage , excellent value for money.

Quick Verdict Did exactly what I needed — connected my garden hose to the kitchen tap with no issues. Fits standard taps well, feels durable, and is quick to install without instructions. More in Detail I needed this to connect my garden hose to the kitchen tap, and it worked perfectly. The fit was snug and secure, and there were no leaks during use. It’s marketed as “universal,” and while it does fit standard kitchen taps, I’m not sure it would work on larger or more unusual tap designs — something to keep in mind if your tap isn’t the basic kind. Installation was very easy — just like shown in the demo video. No instructions needed, and it was up and running in seconds. The brass material feels strong and built to last, much better than the cheap plastic connectors you sometimes see. For the price, it’s a reliable and durable bit of kit if your setup is compatible.

***DO NOT BUY*** the threaed section is hair thin due to having an internal and external thread cut into them. Ours started leaking and trying to take it out to inspect it, it snapped in two- no way to remove the tread from the tap now so we need to buy a whole new tap. Was not overtightened beyond nipped up by hand. Low quality product not fit for purpose and is going to cost us a lot of money. Learn from my mistake.

Great value and does what it says on the tin. We don't have an outside tap so using a hose to fill the kids pool or jet washing the car was always a faff which normally ended up with water all over the house. This is better than the ones that pop over the tap and it screws in and stops it wobbling about. Great for the money. Would recommend.

Fitted the tap fine but didn’t fit a standard hose fitting so leaked a lot - about half the water would come out so the connection wasn’t great.

Der Adapter ist eine praktische Lösung, wenn man einen Gartenschlauch gelegentlich direkt am Küchenwasserhahn anschließen möchte. Genau dafür habe ich ihn verwendet, und die Montage ist grundsätzlich unkompliziert: Der Adapter wird am passenden Innengewinde des Wasserhahns befestigt und anschließend kann der Schlauch über die Schnellkupplung angeschlossen werden. Das Produkt ist für entsprechende Standard-Innengewinde ausgelegt und verbindet den Wasserhahn mit einem herkömmlichen Schlauchsystem. Besonders praktisch finde ich die **Schnellkupplung**. Einmal montiert, lässt sich der Schlauch schnell anschließen und wieder entfernen, ohne jedes Mal den gesamten Adapter auseinandernehmen zu müssen. Das ist beispielsweise hilfreich, wenn man Wasser vom Küchenhahn für die Gartenbewässerung, zum Reinigen von Gegenständen oder für andere Arbeiten außerhalb benötigt. Die Verarbeitung wirkt solide. Der Messingkörper macht einen wesentlich stabileren Eindruck als sehr leichte Kunststoffadapter und ist für den regelmäßigen Gebrauch gut geeignet. Gerade bei einem Wasseranschluss ist mir eine stabile Verbindung wichtig, damit beim Öffnen des Wasserhahns nichts verrutscht oder unnötig belastet wird. Ein wichtiger Punkt ist allerdings die **Kompatibilität des Wasserhahns**. Vor dem Kauf sollte man unbedingt prüfen, welches Gewinde die eigene Armatur besitzt. Bei diesem Adapter geht es um bestimmte Standard-Gewinde; nicht jeder moderne Küchenhahn passt automatisch. Bei passenden Armaturen ist die Verbindung dagegen unkompliziert. Auch die Dichtung sollte korrekt sitzen, damit kein Wasser an der Verbindung austritt. Ich würde den Wasserhahn nach der Montage zunächst langsam öffnen und die Verbindung kontrollieren, bevor man den Wasserdruck vollständig erhöht. Ein einfaches, aber sehr nützliches Zubehör, wenn man einen Gartenschlauch zeitweise am Küchenwasserhahn verwenden möchte. Die solide Ausführung und vor allem die Schnellkupplung machen die Nutzung bequem. Wer vorher die Gewindegröße seiner Armatur überprüft, bekommt hier eine praktische Lösung für einen ungewöhnlichen, aber im Alltag sehr hilfreichen Anschluss.
