Animal Amigurumi Adventures Vol. 2

I am a big fan of Lauren Espy's work. I have her other books as well and have purchased patterns from her website (and she has wonderful freebies on her blog as well!) LIke her previous work, the patterns in this books are well written and easy to follow. The numerous close up, step-by-step photos are super helpful too. A great book for anyone wanting to add more amigurumi patterns to their collection, from beginner to seasoned crocheter! There are too many cute ones to pick a favorite!

My kids are 10 and 11. They are able to easily read and understand these patterns. They have made several of these adorable animals for themselves and as gifts!

I love this book! The beginning has such clear descriptions of the types of stitches you’ll encounter along with photos to check your work against. The patterns are clear and easy to read, and the leveling is spot-on. This is a perfect book for beginner crocheters who are looking for additional challenges that are within reach! Highly recommend!

My sons treat it as a catalog (for me to make them toys). Easy to follow, quick to make and clear instructions. Cute designs as well!

This is my second Lauren Espy book. Much like the first, this book is easy to understand, lots of pictures, and very descriptive. It's a great way to learn how to crochet. The guide on how to properly make different stitches helped me make my crochet work cleaner and taught my best friend how to crochet. I can't express how much I love Lauren Espy's books

I really like all the photos great for visual learners. Parents are easy to follow. The only things I didn't like is the patterns don't indicate how much yarn is needed for each animal. I currently have several started and need order more yarn.

Lauren did NOT disappoint with her 4th published book of crochet patterns! These animals are so adorable and her patterns are always incredibly well written. Lots of photos for guidance for even beginner crocheters. My only complaint is that there aren’t enough hours in a day to make everything Lauren designs! I will ALWAYS buy her books for these phenomenal patterns!

Patterns easy to clear, easy to follow. Hours of fun crocheting

Such a great crochet book! Lots of different animals to choose from. Clear instructions and great step by step pictures. I would even say it's beginner friendly.

Awesome book. Complete walkthrough with pictures. This is not the first time I have made amigruami animals but the way these patterns are written I found them easy to follow and any tricky parts are explained. The end products are very cute and desirable. To do these patterns you will need to do some sewing (the parts onto bodies for example and basic embroidery), be able to work in continous rounds, use a magic ring and be confident working from US single crochet.
