These dig into the board and cut through the paint on your deck!
I decided to purchase these deck guards to protect a very special, brand new skateboard. They seemed to work well, but when checking under them after a few days use, the guards actually wore a deep groove into the paint. I was very upset to see the damage it caused to my brand new board!! Unacceptable! DO NOT BUY these!!! For the love of god just don't do it! It's one thing to mess up your board skating, it's a whole other for you to have an item intended for protecting the board, causing damage!!!

Great protection; Simple And Nearly Perfect
These deck guards are pretty awesome. Great price first of all. Easy to install and customize. See my pics for how it would fit a somewhat traditional downhill board. My board has some pretty deep wheel wells and one side effect is that those areas are too thin for the guards. I had to cut them to size. They can be sized to fit with a quick trim of a sharp, heavy razor. I would practice the first cut or two by cutting the small piece leaving the rest longer than you need at first, but they can be cut without exposing the clips metal. After about a week of pretty heavy use on my electric I bent one off my board and was seriously disappointed, but the clips bent right back and clamped strong again. Great protection. No need for mounting hardware which is nice if you hate drilling holes in your precious deck. (I do) the only draw back is that with lots of use they can kind of “stretch” but as mentioned the clips can be bent right back. That’s just a trade off for something easy to remove and replace VS something with mounting hardware. I’ll definitely be relying on these for all of my boards.

Pretty good, but one of them fell off
I got this for my Backfire G2T electric skateboard and it is great to have. I have run into curbs and walls many times and having these on the front and back of the board gives me real peace of mind. They're even nice when you're setting the board down on the road, allowing you to place the guarded end of the board on the ground first and then lowering the rest of the board without worrying about eating away at the wood (unlike regular skateboards you definitely don't want to throw a skateboard down on the ground).Only issue is the first back guard I installed fell off while riding a couple months after purchase and I didn't notice until I got home, so I had to order another pair. I might have not installed it properly, because the second guard hasn't slipped off at all so far. After a lot of use, I can see the metal peaking through the plastic on both sides, so don't plan on these lasting forever.

Great product! Great Service!
These guys were great!! I chose white and changed my mind... they sent me the black version without question... not saying that will happen all the time but they were kind enough to do so. On top of that this is so easy to install basically you just press and play. I haven’t had a chance to see the longevity of it but I imagine with a zip tie or a small bead of silicone/ glue on the inside and secured overnight it would be a more permanent application but I am impressed so far. It looks good and it protects the board and that’s what I was looking for.

Don't waste your time looking for a better price, This is a quality product other's are not
I paid one dollar less for the (ZUEXT) version and got half the quality. The ZUEXT comes straight Well.. straight-ish, really kinda bend up and ugly and it is too narrow to fit on the board good, the (Max Pro) comes pre curved& wide enough to fit well & hold on, you can really see how good the Max Pro is when you compare how thick the rubber is, It's way thicker as you can clearly see. It also goes on easier and looks better. So i really really recommend this one you won't find it for a better price & same quality. One issue however is a piece of metal is poking out from one corner & is quite sharp BUT I Just yanked The whole piece out Leaving only soft rubber; No prob. Super easy to install Just MAKE SURE you do it right the first time because pulling it off and redoing it will cause damage

Good way to protect the nose and tail of your deck... wish they came in more colors!
Fairly easy to install and they hold in place. These seem to push onto a wider (thicker?) deck as compared to the cheap eBay versions. Also the bendable metal of MaxPro stays in place whereas the one I got from eBay has the metal poking out from the rubber guard as well as the eBay one not having a clean straight cut. The only minor gripe I have about the MaxPro is that on the narrow longboards, it has wrinkle folds which is probably due to the smaller radius nose/tail as compared to a traditional skateboard. Still does its job and doesn't come off. I did read about the MaxPro scraping off some paint when removed, but I was able to adjust the positioning of it when installing and did not notice any damage. However, I would rather save the nose/tail from splitting over keeping a pristine underbody deck graphic. @MaxPro- great product, but please release these in other colors like: a less dark blue, neon green, orange, gray, yellow, purple, etc.

Probably nice if compatible with your board shape
I probably should've done more research, but the way the product's description advertised, I thought I'd give it a shot. I bought it with the intent to use with a cruiser style board (Arbor Pilsner). Worked great for the round nose but not at all for the the square-ish tail. Tried to use clips and clamps to see I could try to reinforce the shape and fit without success. One workaround I saw online was to drill it to the board itself, but I honestly felt like it defeated the purpose of the product itself (i.e. the no tools installation aspect). Also, a heads-up that it can mar the board with softer finishes (saw this with my Pilsner as well as both my other boards as well).
