Love this hoop
I alway buy this brand of hoop now after trying other brands. Wood is smooth and I like that I can use a small screwdriver to tighten if my hands are a bit dodgy. They look nice too.

Disappointed in quality
I received the embroidery hoop quickly, thank you, and I need it for a workshop tomorrow. But I don't think this frame is up to the usual quality I expect from Elbesee and I have several other-sized Elbesee frames in my collection. Advertised as splinter free, this frame has lots of splinters, which I am taking off but I have just got one in my thumb. There is also a small area I will need to smooth with an emery board. Disappointing. A rogue sample.

Purchased and received very quickly. This was part of a present for an embroidery hobbiest and was the exact size they were looking for. Great that it's sold individually, rather than a set of sizes that you don't need.

Not tight enough
I needed to hold silk, unfortunately didn't quite hold in place as the material is very thin the two ends on the hoop would have to have overlapped to be tight enough.
