Gtechniq - EXOv4 + Crystal Serum Light (CSL) + Panel Wipe Kit - All in One Detailing Bundle, Paint Protection, Decontaminate, Great Gloss Retention, Water and Dirt Repellency (30 milliliters)

I've purchased this kit 2 times and coated 3 cars with it so far. Both times I received the Panel Wipe 250ml, CSL 30ml, and EXOv4 30ml as the product listing indicates.The first car that I coated with this kit was done in August 2020, so about 15 months ago. The car is NOT garage kept, but has maintained extreme hydrophobic properties, and has absolutely no swirl marks. I do use C2v3 liquid crystal once every 3-4 months as maintenance. The other two cars that I've coated are both garage kept, so there's no surprise they are doing great.WHAT IT IS NOT: it's not a miracle product, it does not protect against rock chips, it does not prevent water spots, it does not last forever without maintenance, it does not mean you don't have to wash your car any more. If any ceramic coating promises these things, then RUN! If you're looking for these things, what you need is PPF (paint protection film)WHAT IT DOES DO: is protect the paint from fading, protects the paint from the elements, makes it much easier to clean, prevents dirt and contaminates from being embedded in the paint, helps prevent light scratches and swirl marks, provides extra gloss, and provides hydrophobic qualities.I've had a good experience following this application process:1) wash with Dawn dish soap + a degreaser1b) clay bar if needed2) polish + paint correction3) panel wipe with brand new MF towel4) apply CSL5) Apply 2-3 coats of EXOv4Maintenance:1) wash 1x monthly using 2 bucket method2) apply C2v3 once every 3-4 months

Buyer beware: the description of this product is wrong. You, like the rest of us, will *not* receive the panel wipe. Despite the description and photo, there are only two deliverables here, not three.Further--and I don't mind this part as much--you'll actually receive the EXOv4, not v3.Application requires that you provide the microfiber cloths. But let's face it: if you're about to spend two hours applying a pseudoscience coating to keep your car shiny, it's 100% guaranteed that you already have a bunch of microfiber cloths sitting around. Right? Right.Anyway, application is straight-forward if tedious. Use the white bottle first and apply to the whole car; let it sit overnight, then apply a coat of the red bottle. If you want, wait a good three or four hours, then apply a second coat of the red bottle. Application for either is identical: put a small amount of the liquid onto the provided pad, then wipe that over a ~2'x2' section in at least two directions to get good coverage. Go apply onto another section, and when you're done there, use your microfiber to wipe this one off. Repeat until the car is done everywhere. Took me about 45min-1hr for each coat.I don't really care about water sheeting action, though I'm sure that makes a fine demo. What amazes me is that, after application, the car feels just ridiculously *slick*--fingers just slide off it like it's actively lubricated, even weeks later. Will have to see how it stands up months down the road, but really good start so far--seems to do its thing correctly.

Semi professional detailer here ... fairly new to the ceramic coatings. This was on my wifes car that I just dont spend that much time with matinence washes and details. I wanted somthing that would lessen my efforts on keeping the car up to my standards and I believe I have accomplished that.3 step correction and used the panel wipe before application and followed directions given by Matt @ obsessed garage. Before and after pics speak for themselves. I recommend only if you can put the effort into a perfection level correction or ... pay for one to be done for you. I'd suggest paying a detailer for the correction and have them leave the paint raw and polished and apply this yourself. It's very easy to apply. The hard part is the prep work. Good luck to all.

Have a buddy who does detailing he recommended this because I spend a lot of time 4wheelin it holds up great to desert pinstriping( if you know you know) it is not indestructible but it is very strong and should last for a long time. After applying And curing my paint feels so soft now it’s amazing. Application was really easy for my 1st time took us about 2-3 hours to do both products after the detail.

This product is advertised to create a surface so slick and water repellant that water will sheet off it, taking dirt and dust with it. It categorically does not.I washed the car thoroughly, went over it with a clay bar to further clean it, then went over the entire car with a random orbital buffer and Maguiars Polish, resulting in an extremely clean and mirror smooth surface. This was on a 5 year old garage kept Mercedes which is kept very clean.Then I followed the instructions and used the prep to clean off any wax or polish residue. I then followed the instructions and applied the ceramic coating and let it cure for 24 hours. Then I followed the instructions and carefully applied the Exo final coat. I spent many hours on this process as I was willing to put in the time to get a superior result with my car always clean.From what I can see, the water beads up versus sheeting off, and it beads up just the same as if I hadn't done all that prep work, spent all that money and simply detailed the car using Meguiars or 3M products.Highly NOT recommended. Waste of money.

Took about 3 hrs or so to patiently apply both coats to a brand new Mustang Mach-E. Follow the instructions, stick with small sections at a time as noted, and you'll get impressive beading that has lasted as well as the first wash a month ago.

Great stuff, easy to apply. This is my second car that I have coated with EXO-V4
