All I can say is WOW! This thing is powerful to be electrical and not gas powered. I used to cut larger limbs hanging off some trees in my front yard. Super easy to assemble and extend the pole for greater reach. The weight is about what you would expect from any pole saw but if you never used one just know the saw end is substantially heavier than the handle. Be sure to use ppe and have a buddy for saftey. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Cutting tree branches over 10 inches was like cutting butter. The only cons is the head is heavy and the strap is too high on the shaft so it’s hard to handle. The description is incorrect. The reach is only 9.5 feet not 15 feet

Choosen for low price. Quality is good.

What can I say about this saw other than it certainly does what it's supposed to do: cut stuff that isn't close to you.I've cut limbs that were too far too reach with a traditional saw. My neighbor saw me doing it and he borrowed it and he cut limbs that were too far to reach with a traditional saw. I told my buddy about this saw and he borrowed and he cut limbs that were too far to reach with a traditional saw.It's a little difficult to wax rhapsodic about a saw. It does what it's supposed to do at a reasonable price. You're certainly not going to go wrong with this saw.

It took me about 10 minutes to assemble this pole saw, then a few more minutes to read the instructions and cautions. The pole saw extends up to 8 feet and has two locking collars, one that firmly hold the pole at the length it is set to, and the other holds the chain saw end securely to the pole. The assemble saw measures approximately 6 foot 6 inches when it is not extended. There are two electrodes inside the pole handle which plug into the chain saw attachment before locking the chain saw attachment into place.The pole saw comes with 100 mL of oil (it looks like cooking oil) for lubricating the chain bar of the saw. There is a small window on the side of the chain saw attachment to check the level of the chain bar oil. The pole saw has a safety button that needs to be pushed to opperate the pole saw. The pole saw itself is easy to use, is quiet, and quickly cut down the branches from three different trees that I trimmed. I used the pole saw for a total of 2 and a half hours over a two day period. The chain on the pole saw remained tight the entire time. (I like that fact that I did not have to stop the saw and retighten the chain. I could also see the oil coming out on some of the branches while I was cutting them, so I know that the chain and bar were being lubricated. The pole saw appears to be very well balanced.I pretty much like everything about this pole saw except the shoulder sytle strap that came with the pole saw. One end of the strap detached from the pole within minutes after I started using it. After that, that end of the strap continued to disconnect from the pole saw as I used it. That end of the strap is made of two pieces, I could not figure out how to keep them together and there are no instructions in the manual regarding its assembly and use. (See the last photo.)

This pole saw made simple work of trimming branches after a recent storm. It was nice not to have to drag out a ladder and (try) to start my gas powered saw. The chain tension adjustment is a little awkward though because there are two knobs, one that controls the tension and the other that locks it in place. They are both sticky and when you tighten the locking knob it tends to also turn the adjustment knob. You really have to hold the adjustment with one hand and turn the tightening knob with the other. Both are awkward to turn however. The pole locks are also a little awkward because you have to slide the lock down to loosen the pole clamp - which tends to bind a little. I think some lube of some kind may make the plastic parts move a little easier. The saw performed pretty well the first time out. I could not see any oil spray on the chain but this may just have to work into the channels. The kit includes a small bottle of oil, a strap, and safety glasses. I find the heavy weight of the saw when the pole is extended is a little cumbersome, but I expect this is the nature of these tools. And since it is electric, it is super quiet. Fortunately, I have lots of long extension cords and lots of outside outlets so I should not have any trouble powering this for use around the yard. At the price, this is a descent pole saw.

This pole saw works decently well on smaller branches and limbs, but I tried to use this on a few older (overgrown) rose bushes that needed to be trimmed down for the season and that definitely turned into a bit of a mess. The chain quickly jumped off and I had to take it apart and line everything back up and make sure it was secure. That was my fault for not tightening it super tight the first time because I didn't want to break anything. The fitting and the part that screws in are all plastic so I didn't want to snap it by overtightening. I didn't have any more issues with the chain falling off after tightening it, and I noticed it handled fine on the branches that were still alive. However, on the branches that were dead it shot them all over the place haphazardly. Thankfully I had on glasses so I didn't get hurt, but I would not recommend using this on smaller, dead branches because it doesn't have a guard on it to keep them from flying at your face - window... etc. It's easy to operate and has three different angles, so it can be used for a range of products...but avoid dead/dry branches unless you like to dance with chainsaws.
