i just cannot praise this book enough , i am a beginner harpist and enjoy learning these tunes

Overall, this is a comprehensive book, with a good selection of Irish tunes and a good indexing system. It has two versions of most songs - a simple one and a more complicated version for larger harps/more advanced harpists. The words of songs are included, in English or English with Anglicised/phonetic Gaelic words. The arrangements are quite pretty, and overall fairly basic and easy to play. There is underused potential for more interesting arrangements, however.

Great selections of songs with easy and advanced scores. Personally I do not think the arrangement is the best but they are good enough for amateur harpists.

Sylvia Woods always writes good and beautiful arrangements for all harp books. Love them all...
