Does the second sweep?
The subtitle description is written ”uhf...display and black rubber strap” so...is the strap steal or not, as it is written steal on specs below?

The photograph indicates a Sea King Chronograph (with stopwatch function). There is also a Sea King divers watch without all the additional dials. Personally I have the divers watch version and the second hand sweeps smoothly. I believe that in the chronograph (as pictured), the second hand fulfils the function of a stopwatch and therefore will only move when stopwatch is triggered. The question is therefore, does it sweep smoothly when activated. I do not actually know the answer to this, but would conjecture that it might well do so, as the watch has the 262khz 'precisionist movement (which is the engine that allows for a sweeping second hand). I am sorry that I can't answer the question definitively, as I don't own the chronograph version, but I can see that in the other answers people are not always recognising the two distinct versions of the Sea King watch. In some ways I am surprised that Bulova use the same name for two very different watch configurations!"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"The subtitle description is written ”uhf...display and black rubber strap” so...is the strap steal or not, as it is written steal on specs below?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"I think the strap will be rubber if it is a analogue display, and a steel bracelet if it is a chronograph, as illustrated."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Is the strap staniless steel? If it were made in the USA or Switzerland you can be sure that it would say somewhere on the watch and on the website and everywhere possible.\n\nThe movement isn't made in Japan either. Most likely China. Anything like \"Japan Movement\", \"Made in Japan\" is still most likely not made in Japan. For example a Seiko SKX007J with \"Made in Japan\" written on it just means it's made in a different country but under Japanese supervision, in which again there are probably loopholes."}}]}]}
