Great RC excavator for beginners and surprisingly capable! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this excavator, especially at this price point. It feels well-built, the controls are responsive, and the battery lasted much longer than I expected, which gave us plenty of playtime without constantly needing to recharge. The first time we used it was at the beach, and it had no problem moving around in the sand. The tracks handled the terrain well, and it was a lot of fun digging and experimenting with the different attachments. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to relocate the boom controls so they’re closer to the controls used to drive and turn the excavator. It would make the control layout feel a little more intuitive, especially for beginners. Overall, this is an excellent product and a great value for anyone looking to get into the RC construction vehicle hobby. I’d definitely recommend it!

I was honestly impressed with this excavator. For a kids’ RC toy, the controls are much more capable than expected. It can send multiple signals at once (simultaneous multi-channel control), so you can move forward while rotating at the same time instead of everything being one command at a time. That makes it feel much more realistic and easier to operate. The attachments are a big highlight. It comes with a bucket, hammer, and claw, and the claw and hammer are actually actuated since they plug into the machine. Swapping them out is simple and adds a lot of play value. The bucket being metal was a nice surprise and makes it feel sturdier than most plastic toys in this price range. Another underrated feature: you can mute the sound effects. The noises are fine at first, but being able to turn them off is great for parents (and sanity). Overall, this is a well-thought-out RC excavator with solid functionality, good attachment options, and better controls than most toys like this. It feels like more than just a basic kids’ RC vehicle and has held up well so far. Great gift for construction-loving kids.

Works great! My 7 year old loves the way it turns all around and the three attachments work perfectly. Quality made with good weight to it. The three attachments work well and add the extra fun to the toy. Great product!

High quality! My son asked me specifically for a RC excavator with a grapple- and I took the gamble on this one. Very glad I did! Comes with two high capacity batteries and is super functional. The bucket is metal and super sturdy. The grapple can pick up decent sized things. The jackhammer has a metal tip and makes a satisfying racket. My son is very happy with it. So far it’s stood up to multiple kids playing with it for over a week and is 100% functional.

I will have to say for the money it’s a good deal, it controls and drives well, Not to leave out the looks of it, because it looks like the real thing!

This remote control excavator is awesome! I bought it so that I could play with my son in our sand box. He has another remote control excavator that isn't as technical and you just push a couple buttons and it does all the motions for you. However, this excavator, you can control and dig up sand and pick up things and get it wherever you want. It is a really fun "toy" haha. This is definitely for older kids, even though my 4 year old has started to get the hang of it. I really love the construction and durability of the excavator. It is able to get around very great in the sandbox and maneuver around with ease. It also has sounds and a light on the top that is really cool and the kids get excited. My favorite part about this excavator is the interchangeable tools. The jack hammer actually works! I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to have a good time!

I got this as a gift, and I’m honestly impressed with it. It looks really realistic, the details are nice, and it works exactly like I hoped. The tracks move smoothly, the arm and bucket operate well, and it feels like it’s made pretty well. Definitely worth it if you or someone you know loves construction equipment!

Bought for Father’s Day to keep me occupied at family beach vacations. Long time RC car operator so I knew I what I was buying. As you can see by photos it worked. Until it didn’t. I got about 2 - 3 runs of full battery life digging before the 4th day when it broke. The arm raising motor gear eventually bit the dust and now arm only goes up 1/2 way up. Can lift it manually to make it move but what’s the point. For the price. If you don’t move anything but very soft dry sand it should work great for a while. But any force required such as hard dirt or wet sand and you might as well count every clutch gear click as a time bomb countdown to failure. Would be a great toy for kids in a controlled sand box environment. But as for me it was only worth it for a brief time at the beech. Mine Still runs and drives and digs 50% will likely take apart and try to fix. May even post the repair otherwise I will give away to a neighbor kid. Battery run time was good. About 1 hr of digging and moving per charge. The only drawback for me was the controls. I think this is advertised as 18 channel. There is a 22 channel with different style controller. I would recommend spending the $30 more or whatever for that version controller because I think it will be easier to operate. As the controller for this one makes digging harder to do since the button layout is not easy to manipulate the 3 axis arm at the same time for smooth digging. That could be a reason for early failure, but again kids might not understand this anyway. I Would buy again for next vacation if cheaper… should have waited till prime day when it was $20 off and would have bought the 22 channel version instead. FYI This is not the RC excavators you see on tic-tok. Those are $2000 machines and hydraulic controlled. This has tiny electric motors and plastic gears. Which will eventually break, this is not a long term toy. Would give 3 stars becuase it does work and good for very soft sand would be fine and operate for a good amount of time. Giving 1- star so people can find review easier and because mine broke after just 4 uses and the controller was less that favorable.
