The hole for the soap to come out of isn't at the end of the tube, it's underneath the tube. So the soap squirts all over the container and has now started staining the copper paint - I've only had mine for a few weeks.

I wanted a copper coloured soap dispenser for our new ensuite but was put off by bad reviews of other products made from copper which discolour quickly (as well as turn the soap green!). This is a fantastic product made from stoneware and coloured on the exterior. It's lovely and solid and, although pricey, looks gorgeous and works well.

This product is not copper but orange. It also had a crack and flaked paint when it was delivered.

Really good have it in my kitchen matches my other product

Copper paint is more 'orange' than it appears on the picture, and starts peeling off after only a couple of months, leaving unsightly copper flecks all over the sink.
