I bought these to take on a motorcycle trip to help tie down stuff on to the back of my motorcycle and they worked awesome. Stayed nice and tight the whole time, very easy to use, and I didn't worry about them coming undone at all. I wouldn't use them as a heavy duty type strap, but for anything smaller, I have no hesitation pulling these out. They can be wrapped up nice and small so they don't take up much room when they are not being used. Ended up being perfect for what I needed and they worked great!

Perfect for what I needed... To lash down a solar tube shower system to the top of my van! I need something short and strong that wasn't permanent and these were perfect!

Got these for a little added protection when putting bikes on a hitch mounted bike rack. The straps on the rack are plastic and living in Arizona, I don’t trust them to have a very long life. (Though so far they show no signs of wear or fatigue. Hollywood Racks 4-bike hitch mount. Highly recommend it too) I used to snake a 6’ tension strap around all the bikes and the loops in the bike rack. Now I can just have one strap for each bike putting them on as I load them up. It’s so much easier! Having these short tension straps helps me feel better about them staying in place going down the road.

Good quality, secure hold. Simple to use, I use them to secure our e-bikes in the van.

As mentioned elsewhere in comments, the strap hold down is quite weak, and I just had the spring pop out after a few months. I tried to edge it back into place, even with needlenose vice grips, and no luck. That design seems poor to me, anyway, so I'm going to try adhering a stiff foam rubber pad under the lever, which I suspect will be stronger for the purpose and not slip out. A 350 lbs breaking strength is useless information if the strap hold down falls far below that; who cares if the strap itself doesn't break if the hold isn't sufficient! Valonic as a company is nowhere to be seen, even though we're shown AI Michael, Sebastian, Thomas and Martin on their Store page. And my item was shipped by "BSSW America", whoever they are. So Booo all around.

These straps were purchased for additional safety when putting my Catrike on the carrier. They have weathered many miles going to nearby states. Only flaw was the piece used to pull it tight tire off soon after I began using them. No big deal, they tighten easily with it and it has made me feel more secure strapping down each of the three wheels.

I purchased these for securing my bike to a hitch bike rack. After only a few uses, the threading is already showing signs of damage. Great product in principal but appears to be poorly designed to withstand much repeat tension without fraying. Great purchase for now. Long term I am looking for a replacement.

I have been using these to secure my bike on an old bike rack which has worn straps to secure the bike. So double security for my bike to make sure it won't fall off while driving. So far the these little Short Lashing Straps are doing well! Easy to install, easy to remove.

Excellent quality, very strong and once locked in place they stay locked, no issue whatsoever. Using on 2 very heavy ebikes.
