Very easy to adjust to the size I need

I have several old tool cases that came with battery operated tools that have long since died. I decided to use a Dremel and cut out the partitions in those cases and then line the cases with foam to make some protective carrying cases for some other items I have such as RC cars and air guns. I was expecting these foam sheets to be firm and dense, but they are much softer and squishier than I had expected.They arrive compressed in a plastic overwrap, and it takes a few hours for them to regain their shape. It seems like they are an open cell foam, which is polyurethane and not polyethylene, so be aware of what you will actually receive if you order this.Despite my nitpicks, twenty bucks for a 4-pack of these isn’t all that bad and I can still use these, but I do wish they were a bit denser.

Not made to cut out for tools or pistols

I use these foam inserts to create protected spaces for my microphones and effects pedals for playing music. These particular ones are great because they are thick enough to hold some of my instrument mics without burying them.The high-quality foam is a great protector for anything from music gear to cameras. It takes 24 solid hours to reinflate fully, but you are good to go once that happens. It is also easy to cut.I intend to purchase these again as needed for the gear I travel with to keep safe.
