Works Well
We have a small dog that like to bark a lot. It's not a problem except at night when we don't want to bother the neighbors. We keep the whistle hanging on a hook on the lanai door. With just a short blast on the whistle the dog comes running into the house.

Neighbor’ barking dog is a nuisance
This particular dog whistle I ordered from Amazon did not stop the dog from barking. I adjusted the whistle; the dog continued barking, and ignored the whistle.

Whistle was not silent, pitchy
I wanted a silent only to be heard by a dog whistle. Family heard it and were just annoyed. No instructions on how to adjust to a pitch only for dogs. Returned. Might work for someone else. Very well made.
