Not quite perfect as in the pictures but looks good all the same

So look it's not perfect and does look abit cheap up close but when installed it looks a lot better than what you get in the packet.When the lampshade arrives there is some assembly required as you just get them as seperate hoops and have to put them together (there are no instructions for putting the hoops together only for fitting after but it's easy enough to work out). Getting the hoops to go together straight was very fiddly.Regarding the reviews about fire risk - it clearly states on the installation instructions that you cannot hang it straight off a bulb and need the bulb skirt/lamp holder. There is no burning issue if you hang it properly according to the instructions, so please make sure you follow them for installation.Surprisingly it does block out quite abit of light even though the sides are largely open, so if you are buying this to allow more light as we did then it may not be what you are looking for but it's a decent, budget lampshade.No faults just fiddly to assemble and install.

A bit fidly to put together but easy to put up on ceiling good value fit money. Would have helped if there had been instructions

This lampshade has a nice shade purple and looks pretty once on. However putting it on isn't as simple as it seems. Took me 15 mins to get on. Overall though a very good product.

Easy to install and look good ,I think they are worth the money ,Iv been looking for a while for this shade of purple so I'm very happy

If you want a contemporary feel or look, then this and it's red cousin are very good and because you can alter the width of the gaps if you want to tweak the gaps so the light fall more or less on a part of the room this will allow this.I only use these with LED and old style bulbs that are short and stubby or regular size. I think if you were to use the longer LED or low energy bulbs you may have a problem fitting into the holder.
