Perfect for the couch
Looks great. It smelled a little bit out of the package, washed it twice and little bit of fabric softener and it feels great now too. Used it for about a month now, and haven't had any lint issues or anything coming apart. It's not the warmest thing, but it more than does the job.

Pink buffalo throw
The throw is a beautiful color. Not skimpy but plenty material but has weight to it.The fringes maked extra beauty.

Sister loved
Matched sisters living room, it’s for decoration not use as it’s not soft and it’s thin, but she loved it and it fits their esthetic. Got a lot of bang for my buck.

With a little work, you can make it it a star product…
Nice product in general. Very good bargain, and with a bit of work, can be softer and prettier!HOW TO FIX the negatives. In the last 2 weeks I’ve purchased about a dozen all cotton fringed throws from “DII Store”, also called Design Imports, and sold by Amazon. I ordered a bunch of different designs (for several family properties), and read lots of ratings for all of them. All of them had been made in India, which is one of the leading manufacturing countries for cotton products. My big project for this past week was to address some of the complaints I had about the throws, which matched many ratings on Amazon. If you’re willing to do a little work, you can fix most of the negatives.Chemical smell and scratchiest: Yes! Every single one kinda smelled bad and was rough on the skin. FIX: If you’re already happy with how the fringe is, go ahead and wash as follows (otherwise see step 2 below). Wash the throw alone (nothing else in washer) twice with mild detergent in cool water (as per the label), on delicate setting. You can add fabric softener if desired. I didn’t. Machine dry on delicate cycle using 2 Bounce (or similar brand) fabric sheets. Stop the dryer mid-cycle and clean the lint filter (a lot of lint comes off). If there is a trace of the chemical smell after completely dry, lay the throw out on a clean surface on a warm or hot day (I used a patio bench) and leave in direct sun for 5 or 6 hours (turning periodically). This regime worked beautifully. All smell nice now, and have softened up considerably. Happily, all of the colors were colorfast in cool water, and NO PILLING of fabric occurred as a result, which is probably due to cool water and delicate cycles.Loose fringe knots, uneven fringe length, fringe too “thickly”, and tassels matting up after washing. FIX: Before washing the knots tighter one by one manually. It’s a pain, but I got good results. Then I shortened the fringe by 1/2 with sharp scissors, making the length a little over an inch long. The throws look much neater, and the fringe doesn’t tickle against the skin as much. Since the fringe is much shorter, it doesn’t get tangled or mat together with the other tassels in the washer.OK, so what you can’t fix is the snagging. The thing I like the most about these cotton throws (breathability due to looser knit) is also one of the drawbacks. If you use on a rough surface, or have pets with claws, yes, you will get some snagging. You can use an unbent paper clip to try to pull snags back into the weave, or if the snags are long, just snip the thread, tie a good knot, and trim off the ends.Last little complaint: All of the DII cotton throws must be made in a facility that needs to be vacuumed up more often. Every single one had little flecks of other colors, some super-loud colors or even shiny metallic finish, most of which were simply stuck to the fibers (even with washings), but that could be picked out. I did that - it was very tedious. My one safety concern was that I found a couple tiny sequins in the weave of one of the throws. I was able to fish them out, but, thankfully, I don’t have little kids in the house any more. Still, dogs and cats lick their feet and fur and could ingest little things. That said, I only found that in one throw. All, in all, even with all the work I put into the throws, I like and recommend them.Summary:Pros: all cotton, cool in summer/warm in winter. Color fast (I washed one in warm water, in addition to the above, even though the label recommended cool water, and the colors did not run), colors true to photos, sturdy weave, nice looking.Cons: It might take a little work to soften them up and get the chemical smell out, fringe can be uneven and tickly unless you trim it, fringe knots a little loose, requiring some tightening up. Lastly, small strings and fluff from other colors get stuck to the fibers, presumably from the manufacturing process in a

Perfect
Wanted to get a lightweight throw to match my pillow (also from amazon). It is perfect! It's a big rough (I like to think organic). It's light weight and very pretty. Shipping was super fast. Thumbs up!

Impressed!
This was delivered today, so I can't give a thorough review, however, I am very impressed with the quality and weight of the material. It's much nicer than I anticipated. The red is a perfect Christmas red and the size is just what I needed to drape over the couch arm.I am concerned with how I'll clean it, as I don't expect it would fare well in the washer and dryer.

Softness
Just loved it. Perfect for my couch. Can use during Easter for decorating and right thru spring.

Feels like Sandpaper/Burlap
Not soft! It came out of the box very stiff and scratchy like burlap. I threw it straight into the washing machine and it washed and dried fine with no bleeding of colors or shrinkage but stayed really rough feeling. I bought this as a lap blanket but I think I will use it more as a decorative piece which is not what I wanted. Still, I have hopes that after a few washings it may soften up since other reviewers said it starts to soften up after several washings. I was going to add fabric softener but the label said not to do that but others mentioned doing it anyway and felt that it did actually help soften it up a bit without ruining it. Personally, although the blanket is pretty I wouldn't feel good recommending it for use as a blanket but for use as decoration it's quite lovely.

Caro para la calidad
Esperaba que fuera de mejor calidad por el precio. Hay muchos mejores productos, no lo recomiendo, la textura de la tela es rugosa y se ve “mal”

The PERFECT picnic blanket
You know that perfect picnic blanket you always imagined as a kid? This is it. This is THE picnic blanket you dreamed about. The red and white checkers is obviously what brought you here, but when this thing arrives and you hold it in your hands... Is it soft? Absolutely not. Comfortable for reading a book? Oh my god, no. It’s thick (keeps the dewy grass at bay), a bit scratchy (in that lovely, “rustic” way), but that’s what makes it perfect. I just bought it as a photo prop, but it will be a picnic staple in our house for years!
