**Q: Does it use black or green cardamom?**
A: The package does not say. Ingredients are listed as: cinnamon, allspice, coriander, cardamom, black pepper, nutmeg, Ginger, cloves.

**Q: Can this spice be used for a sweet ingredient, particularly for date nut bars?**
A: This spice is typically used in Mediterranean style meat/poultry and savory vegetable and vegetable dishes.  Super delicious! I haven't used it for anything else but if you want to try it in a bar I suggest using a small amount at first.

**Q: Why your package show circle K and when I got it today it doesn't have it? Not kosher**
A: All our products are kosher by OK for the past 18 months. Maybe you received an old label. You can check on the OK website database and you can also contact us directly.

**Q: What makes this spice have such a short shelf life that the other customers are complaining about? Or was it just older stock?**
A: Our shelf life is an average of 18 months. We don't use any preservatives so it's not 5 years as sometime people expect or vendors that do may offer.

I dont know much about cooking Indian cuisine or all the spices...I just know I like to eat it. I bought this and wow. I like to get a pan full of chicken thighs and season it with this and some salt. once they are cooked I roughly slice it up in the pan, add a little water to break loose all the fond on the Botton of the pan, and it makes a wonderful sauce...super tender chicken, and perfect to lay on top of some rice. the flavors come out once its cooked, I was kinda skeptical because its not salt or msg forward like most seasonings I typically use. I will be buying more for sure, and I feel like this is a healthy way too get lots of flavor in meals without all the bad stuff in typical seasonings that I have in my pantry
