Doraubia Table Food Fans for Outdoor Indoor Restaurant Table with Soft Blades Safe to Touch
I'm looking forward to using this Doraubia Table Food Fans for Outdoor Indoor Restaurant Table with Soft Blades Safe to Touch fan on an upcoming camping trip. I wanted something that would allow me to have food on the table without worrying about flies all over the place. This Doraubia Table Food Fans for Outdoor Indoor Restaurant Table with Soft Blades Safe to Touch seems like it may do the job. While the RPM of the spinning blade is not on the spinning level of a regular fan I find that the light iridescent blade will repel flying insects with the color and low spin mode. Time will tell. The blades are soft to the touch almost like thin strips that won't harm or cut if you touch the blade while its in its spinning mode (so no need to worry about kids sticking their fingers in the blade area) Though the price point for the one fan does not serve as a deal breaker there are offers for a set of 2 that is $10 cheaper than the purchase of the one unit. Going to give it a shot to ward off flies this upcoming out door picnic / camping season when trying to prepare or set food on the table .

Effective at keeping flies away
We get a TON of flies in our backyard (thanks to the neighborhood cats using our yard like a litter box). I use this every time we eat outside, and it seems to work! The only issue I have is that the spinning arms are weak so if they hit your cups or plates it either stops spinning or makes an annoying tapping sound. So best with larger tables. But, I will definitely keep using it. It does spin slow so doesn’t hurt at all if you touch it.

Nice fly fan
These really do seem to work. Quality is fine. A bit snug opening all the way but holds well at full extension. Don't like that you need batteries. Prefer the rechargable ones.

Collapsible - Easy To Use - Effective - Quiet - Needs Two AA batteries
When the weather starts to get warm, I like to eat outside - and so do the flies. This handy little gadget puts the kibosh on their explorations of my food. Assembly-wise, the base comes collapsed, and all you need to do is pull up and twist each of three sections to lock it into the section below to get a standing height of about 8", and press center of the blade onto the motor shaft. It takes two AA batteries, rechargeable or regular, that are easily installed under a plate that snaps on/off. There's a small switch on the bottom to turn on/off, and it only spins at one speed. The "blades" are made of a light, flexible mylar-like plastic with a holographic pattern that is as mesmerizing to look at as it is annoying to the flies. The blades spin quickly enough to shoo the flies, but slowly / gently enough to not cause problems if they run into anything. The bottom of the unit has a hanger that snaps open so that the entire unit can be hung upside down if desired. I removed a star because I also ordered a pair of similar fly repellers, and preferred the pricing for two units over this single one.

Great fly deterant
The media could not be loaded. I've been seeing these around a lot this year so I had to try them. I like that it can be set up right or hung up side down. The fan blades are soft & flexible so no worry about someone getting injured. I don't like that it's fully plastic & the come doesn't go together well. It took a minute to figure out how to extend the come, no instructions. You have to pull out each level & twist to lock in place. Another concern is the past to put the fan on might break after a few times pulling the fan ribbons on & off. I like that it's battery operated as well

Lightweight and very quiet motor. Easy to assemble.
The media could not be loaded. It expands to be about 12 inches tall. Collapses to about 4 inches. I do not know if it really keeps flys away. I guess in theory the spinning and the shimmer might scare them but their desire for food might over power that fear. The 3 parts of the stand, the top 2 you spin 1/4-1/2 turn to lock in when you pull it up and then you push the tower level down and slip the propeller on the metal spindle. It’s friction tight. Installed 2 AA batteries and flip the switch on. It spins and the blades are very light weight and can NOT hurt you if they hit you hand etc. there is no hard power to make it spin, just one speed and the blades raise up and hopefully that will keep the bugs away. It is NOT the most compact item. I guess you could take it in a backpack or larger pocket book and setup at the beach, picnic blanket, restaurant etc. if you know these scare the bugs away this is a great little fan to have for personal use.

Okay product but.....
The media could not be loaded. Pretty simple to assemble. I was not sure what purpose the little bowl served till I re-read the description. Apparently it serves as an aromatherapy device? It may/may not drive flies away. I have not yet had a chance to test it.If it works as advertised then it might be worth having.I have seen 2 and 3-packs of similar devices on Amazon for a lower price. So be sure to look at the "similar items" descriptions. This one runs on 2 AA batteries which are not included. Some of the others are rechargeable.
