WeatherTech Custom BumperTopper for Mazda CX-5, Rear Bumper Protector (BP0019), Black

We recently bought my daughter her first car: A 2020 Mazda CX-5. It was in good shape, but there was a lot of scuffing on the top of the rear bumper, where the previous owner moved luggage or other items in and out of the trunk. The WeatherTech custom bumper topper came to the rescue. Reasonably priced, very sturdy, and perfectly fit to the car itself. It covered all the scratches, and looked like it was simply part of the original car design. Simple to install, with very sticky adhesion, this has been a no-brainer purchase, and we would happily purchase one again.;

Excellent quality it fit our 2023 Mazda CX5 perfectly . Followed the directions for an easy install . Looks great and will protect the leading edge of the top of the bumper .

Perfect fit, high quality, easy installation. This product looks like an original factory installation. Incredible value, high quality and will protect the bumper. Much better value, quality and protection than Mazda after market product that does not cover the most vulnerable bumper edge.

Just got a 2025 CX-5., and wasn't really into the metal Rear Bumper Protectors Mazda makes / offers. After a little bit of research, I quickly came to the conclusion that Weathertech was the way to go! Installation was a breeze & only took a few minutes! Adhesive seems great so far, but only time will truly tell. It's thicker than a lot of the other covers I was looking at, and seems really well made! Less than half the price of the metal OEM cover, and feels like it will protect my bumper much better, and for a longer period of time! Sizing is great and a perfect fit! I've heard nothing but good things about these protectors (on any vehicle), and feel like I made the right choice!

Perfect fit and look on the car, as expected. I have used many different weathertech products over the years, and know they fit right, look great, and protect for years. If you leave the vehicle outside a lot, put a coat of paint sealer wax like Jetseal or M-Seal when you do the car and they don't even fade.

So far so good. Packaging was insufficient, the first one sent was broken in the middle because they just stick it in the box and it’s thin plastic. The instructions have pictures which show to pull back the red tape on both sides, which didn’t work on the lipped side, because the tape broke when pulling on it. I had to redo it and pull all four strips it from the non-lipped side. Otherwise it was simple to put on, I warmed up the adhesive first with hair dryer. It fit snugly but time will tell if the adhesive will hold!

Mazda recommended this product. Weather Tech is a excellent company. Bumper protection works really well. Easy installations. Protects the bumper well when putting cargo in.

This was perfect! Fit my CX-5 just right. Covers the place I scraped the bumper when unloading some pavers. If I'd had it beforehand, it would have protected the bumper from being scratched, which it has done successfully since I installed it. The adhesive is very, very strong if you adhere it to a properly cleaned and smooth surface. So take great care to follow the excellent instructions, and you will have a long-lasting enhancement to help protect your vehicle. Weathertech products are reasonably priced when you consider the quality. Other solutions may be cheaper, but I go with Weathertech every time because I know from experience that it will be high quality, long-lasting and great-looking!

This fit perfect and looks great on my 2025 CX-5. Yes it’s a bit pricey but made in USA and feels robust. Typical of weather tech quality! Adhesive tape is strong so be sure to take your time to clean the bumper and apply it as per instruction. You get one chance!

2022 Mazda CX-5 I had quite a few scratches on my rear bumper from years of cargo, grocery and luggage carrying. Although not cheap, this bumper topper excels at what it does. It covered the scratches perfectly. The quality is superb, the install was easy and it very durable.

Looks good on our car, good quality and seems tough. Now hopefully I won’t scratch the bumper.

item looks good when applied - like OEM - CAUTION be very careful when removing the red protective film on the double-sided tape. if it breaks while you're removing it - the 3M tape adhesive is VERY STRONG.... the good news is I have confidence in the tape's holding power.
