I got these for my laundry cart so it's not an exceptionally onerous job. I have gone through two sets of plastic wheel over five year, the plastic wheels would break. So I thought I'd get a heavier duty set of wheels. It took a little bit for me to install them but mostly because I'm not that mechanically inclined. And the wheels were kind of greasy, but once on no problem.The only drawback is that they are little taller than I thought they were going to be. About a 1/2 inch higher. Which wouldn't be a problem but I store my laundry basket under a table and now it doesn't really fit. I was going to clean out my closet and move the laundry basket there so once I do that, it won't be a problem anymore.The wheels work well and with the brakes on them you can stop the basket from rolling away. They look nice on as well. I would recommend these for light to medium duty (other reviews had problems with them on heavy items.) These wheel feel much more sturdy than the plastic ones they replaced.

I bought these to replace old casters that were failing because ball bearings were seizing, falling out. These work very well, at least when new. Downside is the same as the old ones: no grease or seal or protection for the bearings. Ball bearings work when they are clean and lubricated (greased). Why don't manufacturers understand this basic fact? Lube them and seal them and they'll last a long time. I guess they want us to keep buying new ones. By the way, I greased these and made my own primitive seals. Clean bearings are happy bearings!

Good addition for wire storage rack that I need to move occasionally for access. Heavier duty than needed but works for me.

This set of wheels worked perfectly for a small shelving unit I bought recently that had screw feet. As it stands took a shot on these 1/4" diameter stems worked perfectly and didn't give too much extra width at the bottom since the wheel nuts extend maybe 1/2" outwards but overall great quality looking wheels should be good enough for small shelving or other smaller units you would want to have wheels.

Wheels came with lock washers and nuts and a wrench to adjust them.

I used these wheels to replace the cheap ones that came on my wire rack. These are way more sturdier than the originals that had a very short life span, and the new ones roll much better than the cheap old ones.

This company (Finnhomy) has dark red ones that I've also bought, rated 4.6, and these are EXACTLY the same. They are replacing screw-in feet on the bottom of several chrome wire shelving units. I wanted small wheels so they don't add too much height, and will use these on a smooth surface in a household storage room. About the negative comments, I suspect that they were just rough on them, or used them on a rough surface.
