Review: It is wonderful - I didn’t think it would work very well after all just with the built in battery, and how could it get hot enough to do good soldering, but I was totally surprised it worked so well and it heated up very fast.
Review: didn't work - it showed up quickly and it looks nice and sleek. However, it doesn't work. I followed the instructions about clicking it five times, the light flashed so I thought it was working. Tried letting it heat up while holding the button down. Button flashed a few times before going dark. I thought maybe it needed to be charged so I plugged in the charger to my usb port. The light on the charger was green so i thought i was good to go so I screwed in the iron. The second I screwed it in, the light on the charger went dark. I screwed it in tighter because I thought maybe it wasn't tight enough. It was still dark. I unscrewed it slowly, trying to find a "sweet spot" but no dice. It only lit up when I unscrewed it all the way. Checked around on the internet, followed instructions, but it's kind of a no-name brand so I couldn't find much about it. Instructions said that it is supposed to light up red while it's charging and then green when it's finished. I didn't get any color on the charger at all unless it wasn't connected to the iron. really disappointed--the design is great, it's lightweight, I liked the idea of having something so small but I guess you get what you paid for and a $15 soldering iron just doesn't work.
