The mesh makes all the difference
We have three of these scattered around the house. The cats love them because they can see through the mesh while sitting in the tunnel waiting to ambush the other cat or one of us. The tunnels are very flexible, making for some great fun when one of the cats grabs the outer shell from inside and starts rolling around and pulling, making the tunnel rear up like a giant worm.
