This mold is pretty good. The ice comes out like it should having used others like this. I do like the rigid plastic instead on the silicone ones. The only thing that was not good is the ice container they also send is so brittle. It was shattered in shipping. I would not use that anyway it's just too big for the freezer. Otherwise so far it seems to work well.

Couldn't be any easier, perfect every time.

Ice cube trays is not flexible

Probably the best thing about this set is that it will make a bunch of large, round ice balls and it comes with the perfect size tray to keep them while you make more.Making the ice balls does take a bit of patience and work. Each tray uses about 4 cups of water. Pay attention to the water fill line! Too little and you get a flat spot. Too much and you get a spout and it's extra difficult to remove. Even properly filled, they are not the easiest to remove once frozen.Also, you need to ensure that you've snapped the two pieces together completely once you've filled it with water. If you don't you will get a sheet of ice connecting all the ice balls. Even if you think you've got absolutely secure, most the of the ice balls will have a "ring" around the middle where the water pushed through the gaps slightly while freezing. These are awesome for the whiskey drinker, but don't plan of those picture perfect crystal clear ice balls you get at the whiskey bar. Overall, still highly recommended due to the amount of ice balls you can make at once. They do take SEVERAL hours to freeze completely so plan ahead if you're having a get together.
