Little Mary Hagan 'Nightingale of the North Paperback – 19 February 2015

Very good reading it brought back a lot of memories and I read things didn't know about I know the author and also Mary Hagan so it was really brilliant reading about Mary she was a star and a brighter star now.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Written by a well known North East singer songwriter and entertainer Patricia Kirby. I enjoyed the book so much I ordered another one for a friend who is a distant relative of Mary Hagan.Malcolm H. Cave.

I loved this little book.The very stuff of classic epics which leaves you feeling what might have happened in another time in other cicumstances.A real tribute written in a humble way from a daughter about her lovely mother.

Really enjoy the insight into life in the 1940's. Happy and sad true story,
