Good product. I used it twice so far, 2015 Lexus RCF and 2014 Ford Explorer XLT, no issues extracting oil from both cars. I found for these two cars the smallest diameter tube was perfect... I suspect for most cars this will be the case.Setup was a breeze, it was pre assembled, the only thing I had to do was attach the tube holder on the side. Remember to remove the tube cleaner metal pick (sorry for the lack of better description) that is in one of the tubes.Like others have said, warming up the oil a little bit will definitely help getting it out faster. I will say it took me about 20-25 minutes to get 6 quarts out of motor, maybe I didn't pump enough to create a stronger vacuum, but I figure the less vacuum pressure, the longer the tool will last anyway. Plus, the canister base and tubes are sturdy so I walked away prepping the oil filter, unwrapped the new oil jugs, etc. It only took 4 easy pumps to get it going and I didn't need to pump anymore.I've never used the more expensive mityvac brand extractors, and sure this tool doesn't have the refill option, but for the price I paid i would buy it again. Note that mityvac does have a lower cost tool compatible to this one, but from reviews I've read, the seal around the pump handle fails quickly and ceases to work anymore. So I am very happy with this purchase.

With a warm engine, no more than ten pumps and ten minutes and the oil evacuation process is complete. The tubes will take a set if the oil is very hot, which can make snaking them back in the holder a bit tricky. This extractor made zero mess at any point in the process and emptying and clean up was easy.Be sure to let the tubes adequately drain before putting them back in the holder or you'll end up with a teaspoon of old lubricant down there, which will eventually spill out when you're emptying the extractor or at the very least allow you to flick oil all over yourself when removing the tubes on the next oil change.. don't ask.

Unit worked great! changed the oil in a 2017 Nissan Rogue in a few minutes. The smallest hose / tubing easily fit in the oil level guage pipe and with a few extra pushes reached to the lowest part of the oil pan. It pulled out 4.8 quarts in ten minutes. The more time consuming part was changing the filter. luckily its an easy to reach filter. Took the oil to a reclaim center and easily poured out the waste oil. Great unit and value.

If you have a vw or any car with the oil filter facing up. Get this. It will make oil changes easy and also you will not have to wait at the dealer 4 hours!!

Works well I’ve been able to do 3 oil change for my kids and wife but one of my hoses bent on the way in of the oil stick but I’m sure I’m gonna be able to find a replacement for it..

Have used it once so far. worked very well. Need to play with it some as you near the last of the oil in the car to suction up the last oz or two.
