LOCTITE SI 5331, Liquid Thread Sealant for Pipes, Silicone Sealer for Cold and Hot Water Carrying Plastic and Metal Pipes, Vibration Resistant Silicone Sealant, 12x100ml

Having tried using Loctite 55 on a swimming pool MPV and having the valve still leak at the threaded joints, I opted to try out this liquid sealant. I put the liquid on both the make and female joints and easily screwed them in by hand. I waited 24hr before I turned on the pump & when I did, there were no leaks from any of the joints. I’ve bought another tube as backup, I’ll be using this stuff instead of PTFE Tape and silicone from now on.

Used on the thread of a plastic end of steel tap in kitchen. Spread over threads of both male and female threads. Allowed to cure for 24hrs and so far plastic end of tap is remaining in place whereas previously it would fall off with water force.

For sealing threaded joints between metal and plastic pipe fittings. There is nothing better and it's WRAS approved for when dealing with potable water. Simple perfect.

Im Camper-Selbstausbau werden aus Gewichtsgründen häufig Kunststoff-Fittings eingesetzt. Nachdem ich zuerst Dichtfaden genutzt hatte und als Nicht-Klempner keine wirklich guten Ergebnisse erzielt habe, entdeckte ich dieses Mittel! Perfekt! Es ist alles beim ersten Durchgang dicht und ich habe ein sehr sehr gutes Gefühl, dass mir kein Wasser ins Auto läuft. Man „sieht“ die Paste ja rausquillen, somit ist es wirklich dicht. Empfehlenswert für diesen Einsatz!

Ottimo e semplice da usare

Leverancier heeft in de omschrijving 12x100ml staan, echter ze sturen er maar één op. Prijs is daarom te hoog, als je met de leverancier in discussie gaat over deze omschrijving geven ze de opmerkingen "je hebt er maar één besteld*, bij andere leveranciers betaal je maar €22 voor één tube. Hier dus niet kopen!
