Good stapler
Works well, compact size, great if you are already using M12 tools. Has a surface safety, but I would like to see a safety switch too, once a battery is connected, the tool is always active. Fast repeat rate and strong stapling power in both plywood and dimensional lumber.

Nice stapler!
Purchased mostly for my wife to staple landscape fabric for the raised bed. I have a pneumatic stapler/nailer but cordless is more convenient in this type of application. Depth adjustment is great but does take a few staples to get the depth needed based on material and not too deep to go through fabric. I also like that this has a bump fire option. Based on my application, doesn’t really need to be all “that” neat as most of them will be covered by dirt. The 12v battery does seat very tight and some people may have difficulty removing as it does take a bit a strength to squeeze to pull out battery. I would never recommend “slamming” the battery home on any tool as it may bend the male pin and then you’ve got something to fix, if it didn’t break. I like the alignment function and it will not fire a staple until depressed. Where you have it aligned is where the staple will go. So, this will make fastening low voltage wiring pretty seamless and easy. Keep in mind that this will only take 3/8” wide crown (t150) staples. You are limited on how long the staples can be as well. I believe the ones I used are 3/8” long as well (not sure though). It did make quick work this my current project, especially with the bump fire option. Even at a bare tool price of over $100, it will last for many years. I used a 1.5AH battery, on a 4’x8’ raised bed and used a 50’ roll of fabric. Likely used little over 75 staples and didn’t lose full state of charge at all. Have to say this would last over 1000 staples before battery change. I would recommend this stapler as part of your cordless tool arsenal based on convenience and performance.

Great lightweight Milwaukee tool but needs a safety switch
I love this tool and the price is amazing I do not think any other platform offers a better deal The tool is very lightweight which makes it easy to handle and true to Milwaukee quality I am very happy with its performance However the one drawback is the lack of a clear power off or safety switch like those on nail guns which is a safety concern for me Overall great value and reliable build but I wish it had a dedicated power off feature.

Performs as expected
I didn't need this, but I'm glad I have it. My hand staplers were just fine until the kids lost parts to them, so I thought I would upgrade to this since I have a small ecosystem of M12 tools to go with my Dewalt tools. It works great, it is a bit bulky compared to a manual stapler, but it has to be in order for it to work. With that said, I don't really feel the size difference when using it, I am still able to get into the tight areas I was before, but now my hand doesn't get fatigued or lose leverage at awkward angles. That is reason enough if you have the money to upgrade.

Struggles shooting shorter staples consistently straight
Needing a stapler for several projects, I picked up this Milwaukee 2447-20 since I'm already deep in Milwaukee's ecosystem. I find most of their tools to be well-designed and dependable, and for the most part, this little stapler follows suit. The immediate project for this stapler was to stretch canvas over frames for my family's art projects. This stapler has been adequate for that, but honestly, not as good as I had expected from Milwaukee. I have a pneumatic stapler that works well for this particular purpose, where the head is easier to fit in tight areas vs this Milwaukee (which is great when working with a canvas stretching tool), and it is nearly foolproof. The flaw with the pneumatic stapler is that it either tethers you to the garage area near a compressor or you have to deal with dragging a portable (loud) compressor into the house. We purchased the Milwaukee stapler to simplify these projects, and for that, it has been successful. The complaint we have with the stapler is that it doesn't set the staples straight in reference to the body. One staple might come out straight, then the next, no matter how careful you are, shoots out crooked. The shorter the staple, the more profound this becomes, and a 1/4" staple seems to have about a 15-degree variance in each direction from "straight". I suppose this isn't a huge deal when stapling insulation, or where it didn't matter much as long as it was stapled. In our case, however, the results look pretty janky when using short staples compared to using our pneumatic or even an old-fashioned hand stapler when stapling canvas. Overall, while it feels great in your hand, and it consistently sinks staples, it is a little disappointing that it can't shoot straight.

Excellent tool.
Puts many of the others in this tool category to shame. Flush staples into 2x4s and a seemingly endless dial to adjust flush depth, if needed. I'd say the main divisive issue with this stapler is the requirement of at least 5 staples at any given time within the load chamber. Keep this in mind or it will NOT staple. So keep plenty of extra staples. Battery life has been great for my needs in upholstery and light shop work. Can take multiple staple depths from 1/4 to 3/8. Great product.

Beefy, Efficient Unit
Bought this to staple carpet to pressure treated wood runners for a boat trailer - big improvement over doing it by hand. If you have other M12 tools and batteries or if you are short of hand strength for a long stapling session this is a nice addition to the toolbox. It's compact and surprisingly heavy but easy to handle. You can hold the trigger and bump fire it, but the cycle time is nothing like an air tool. Evaluate what you intend to use it for: it uses T50 staples (3/8 wide crown) exclusively. The hand stapler I have accommodates both 3/8 and 1/2" crown staples. I would have preferred that this tool do the same; the wider crown is preferred for the job I'm using it for. I may use a mix of staples in my project and resell this when done but that's not a knock on this solid little tool.

Great stapler
A really good sturdy power stapler which is ergonomically well designed and as a result very comfortable, I have only used it this far with 10mm staples on soft wood (CLS) and it copes quite easily. A great addition to the M12 tools within my tool box.
