Things I like:1) Bed is soft2) size is about right- used by 6 month old kitten and my largest cat (12 pounds)3) all the cats like this bed, really... just a matter of who gets there first!One thing I would change - the zipper to take the cover off the pad is on the side of the pad. I try to tuck it under but they keep fluffing the bed so it's visible, then the kitten chews on it. If the padding were a denser foam and less squishy this probably wouldn't happen so much. If the zipper were on the underside of the outside edge, that would be better. Not a deal-breaker though. If I ever think of it when the bed it empty, I'll slip the pad inside a pillowcase.

It’s super soft, but seems like it’s smaller than advertised. She still fits but it’s a little tight. She seems to like it-cave style. Tried it as a bed and she didn’t like it: that being said it will take her a couple weeks to decide, she is a diva after all.

so my husband bought a little honeycomb nesting bed for our two orphan rescue babies the night we brought them home. they were just shy of three wks old... a bonded pair of brother and sister floofies. they hopped in that little bed right away and slept in it wayyy beyond the day they both fit [un]comfortably. it was their little safespace security blanket.we've bought two other beds... similar-ish, bigger, room to grow, etc... in hopes of recreating that first fave bed. no dice. they kept piling into that first little cave that was barely 7" across.and then...! i found this prize! its literally perfect for my little lovey kittens. sometimes they sleep inside the cave. sometimes they pounce it til its collapsed and then snuggle up to snooze. anddd sometimes they wrestle ea other for it push ea other out til just one kitten is snoozing and the other is curled up at the 'door' looking sad... haha.i added a coupla photos of the kittens w their first little bed as well as a brand new photo of them cuddled up cozy in their new bed. its soft and plush, solid quality, seems to be able to withstand a respectable kitten tug-of-war.for reference - my babies are currently five mos old. baby brother weighs a little shy of 8lbs. baby sister weighs right at 5lbs.

We had originally bought another cat cave for our new cat, but he showed zero interest in it. So, we decided to try, again, with the beehive design (just like his "brother" cat has) and he wasted no time getting right in this! We just received it to today and he has been inside of it for hours. This design is a big winner with both of our cats. Want to try out the cat bed function of the product, but we have to wait until he gets out of his cave!

When I took it out of the bag, it had a little chemical smell to it. I put it under my ceiling fan for a while and the smell was gone. I took it to my mom's house (her cat) and he inspected it by walking around it, as usual. I put a little catnip in it, to entice him into it. He went in, circled twice, and laid down in it. Total time I had it out: 15 minutes. That's amazing, it took him months to cozy into a bed that my mother purchased.This one is like a cubby hole, so I'm sure he feels more protected in it than an open bed. I was worried because her cat is 13 pounds and didn't fit in an earlier, smaller bed. When he was laying down, about a quarter of the bed was still empty. That was a pleasant surprise. It's very soft and looks warm for him. I highly recommend getting one.

So I originally bought just one of these for our camper. I have 2 cats and we needed an extra safe spot for them and this fit next to the bed under the cabinet. Afraid they wouldn't use it as an igloo we pushed the top down. Both cats liked it so I bought a second one. We decided to leave this one up with the pillow in the middle. Fae, pictured, decided it was perfect for her. She has always slept on us or under the covers at night. She no longer does this! She sleeps snuggled up in the igloo. We are so excited and finally getting a full night's sleep.I cleaned the first one and it was super easy to vacuum. I highly recommend these cat igloos!

Our cat is a breezy way cat which means she is indoor/outdoor but protected. This is a great house for her as she can still on top of it and when it gets really cold it pops up and she crawls inside. She loves it! Oh and it does wash really well.

Having seen that this year's winter is forecast to be the worst for 30 years, and last night being -3°C, I bought this (and the Sleepy Paws Self Heating Pet Pad Small 48x38cm) for a very small stray cat that lives near me. It fits neatly under my front porch to keep off any rain. The cat loves it. She's normally out in all weathers, and being quite scrawny, with only very short fur, I'd noticed how stiff and lethargic she was in her normal sleeping place. Not last night! She climbed into her new home around 8pm and was soon snugly curled up, fast asleep. When I checked on her at 9 and 10 pm, she was still cosily sleeping. On a final check at midnight, she lazily stretched out a paw, gave a big contented yawn, then snuggled back to sleep. It's now around noon, and after her usual round robin of scrounging food from the neighbours, she's back in her cozy cave, snoozing off her lunch. --- I think we can say this cat bed/cave has the Moglet's approval. -- RickUPDATE: it's now two years later; so I'll provide an update. This Igloo was purchased as an emergency shelter for a Street Cat who was sleeping on people's cold concrete doorsteps. Of a typical morning she'd be found so cold she could hardly move. So, seeing the sub-zero forecast for the following night, Amazon was my only hope for gettingher her some shelter instead of findinga frozen, dead, street cat one morning. Fortunately, as soon as she saw her new doorstep shelter, she was smitten. In the picture (Which is taken on my doorstep), you can see that she's warm and cosy inside her new Igloo. The "body-heat reflecting" material certainly works, as instead of seeing "Maggie the MagRat" tightly curled against the bitter winter's cold of a night, she was now cosily comfortable, stretching and yawning inside her den.(We did have the incident with the snake. And it's important to be aware that our "Introduction" was when she ferociously attacked me!! But you'll have to wait until next Christmas if you want to hear our full hilarious story; when our book should be in the Amazon store. For now I'll simply say that the MagRat abandoned her cosy new home a couple of months later -- at 8pm on Christmas Eve, to be exact -- when she marched through my door, announcing that she'd decided to adopt me... It seemed I was going to havecto share my Christmas Dinner (and my bed), as Santa had brought me a mad pussycat 🐈‍⬛ 🎄.)

I bought this for my cat that is palliative care and its the best bed I could have got him. He adores it. It creates a safe warm den like feel without him feeling too cramped. He stretches out in it, is clearly comfy and is in it in hot or cold weather. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bought one to see how the cats took to it. It took them almost 30 seconds to realise how comfortable it is. Only one cat (3.5kgs) fits at a time so bought a second. Both get good use so certainly getting value for money. You can definitely feel the warmth of them when you stuff a hand under a cat.Also easy to wash. All in all happy to recommend.

Bought for our new kitten who used the hooded bed once. I converted it to the flat bed where upon our other cat commandeered it. It's his now! He is not a big cat, but rather chunky and he fits in nicely. He loves it. Our kitten also uses it when it is free!
