At first, the device did not work. But it was a problem with another device. So everything is fine.)

A very good product that does its job without any problems. I powered it with 5V from an old powerbank. This converter is solid built with metal housing, so its weight is noticeable but I like it. You don't have the feeling of something cheap and plastic. I have not tested it long enough but it seems that the sound level from SPDIF is decent. I would buy it again and thus I can recommend the product.

This is pretty well made - metal case etc - and does the job just fine. Having optical & coax output, and mini-jack & phono inputs is great. No complaints except...After using a few times it was dropped a couple of feet onto carpet with the jack socket plugged in, and the internal socket broke off the circuit board. Turns out the socket is only connected to the device via the 3 soldered wire connections, which did not take much to break. (see photo).Hopefully will still work via phono input with some adapters, but still not very happy. A shame that this well-built product is let down by this cheapskate fitting
