I've owned some of these spoons for years & they are a really clean & convenient solution. You simply rest one of these spoons on the rim of each jar.No more cross contamination, no more sticky messy spoons left untidily on a plate in the middle of your table.Even after years of use & being put through the dishwasher mine still look as good as new.My recent spoon purchase was a gift for a friend who has recently moved to open a b&b. She's delighted with them.

So I kind of misunderstood what this spoon was meant to do when I bought it. I didn’t realise the bent section is to allow the spoon to balance horizontally on the jar edge allowing the excess honey to drip in. This is excellent if you have an at least half full jar and are not clumsy.If you get the bent section covered with honey trying to get near the bottom of the jar and then put on the edge it all drips down the outside. And if you are clumsy like I am, when reaching over/round the jar or lifting the jar it is quite easy to catapult the spoon from the top 🙄 creating a whole new level of mess on the table/floor!It’s a lovely spoon and works well under controlled circumstances!

The item is alright and fulfills its purpose. I wish the surface that you fill with honey would have been a little larger. But really....it's just if we want to be petty!

Excellent product

Have bought this item over and over again for presents and myself. It’s the best tool for honey! Thanks to it’s curve it rests on the jar lip and thus no honey is wasted. A normal spoon or bee hive like tool is messy and creates a lot of waste especially the latter. Get one of this instead, you ‘ll thank me!

Such a simple design idea but works so well when you have open jars on the table.

I didn't really think there would be THAT much difference in using this honey spoon compared to a conventional one - but it does make scooping honey a lot easier. I doesn't leave as many strands dripping down which then usually goes all over the jar, but instead you can swizzle the spoon and makes the whole dispensing system a lot less messy. Came well packaged and delivered fairly quickly
