Very Crunchy Interesting Sweet
I like the simplicity of sweets from other countries, a few whole foods blended together. The cookies are made from the pits of apricots, something I wouldn't think could be used that way. But it works.Mildly sweet with a bit of a grainy texture. The wrapping is a bit excessive IMO.Interesting.

Delicious, Fresh, Such a Lovely Treat!
These arrive sealed. Break the seal and then open this box. You will instantly see the individually sealed cookies. This ensures a fresh, pristine product! Love that! Now, select a cookie and enjoy! I first selected one that had a very satisfying crunch with that signature cherry/almond taste. My next one was softer with that same delicious taste. So yummy!Everyone was so excited over the box and the contents. Everyone was super excited to select a cookie. If this happened in my home, I think it would translate nicely as a hostess gift! So, consider grabbing this for the next party you attend!Everyone in my house loved every aspect of these cookies! I totally concur! What a lovely box of tasty goodness!

Better than I thought they would be
I'm going to be perfectly honest: when I got these, I expected them to be like those tins of Christmas cookies that have 'okay-ish' cookies.I was pleasantly surprised to find these were pretty good. Enough so that they're actually a snack I would reach for when I have a craving. They're sweeter than I expected, but not overly sweet, and have a smooth, somewhat nutty type of flavor to the cookie. It's a really good balance of flavor that's most definitely there but not way overwhelming (like a lot of processed snacks are). They're very much on the crunchy side.I would recommend people give them a try. I'm glad that I did despite my initial reservations.

Almonds? Huh?
I'm a little confused by these. The only listed ingredients are sugar, apricot kernels, and egg whites. It says they *may* contain TRACES of almonds, which to me sounds more like products containing almonds are made in the same factory. Yet the listing claims they are almond flavored.Cookies are small, round and individually wrapped in both a paper wrapper and plastic inner wrapper. They're quite crunchy and crumbly (no sign of the soft and chewy center described in the listing), are quite sweet and taste heavily of apricot. I'm wondering if they somehow mixed up the description. The cookies are very tasty and have a nice gourmet presentation, buy they don't taste like almonds and certainly aren't soft and chewy in any way.
