I WAS concerned when some said it was NOT plum, as while I get some like REALLY vivid purple, doesn't really go with my bedroom.PROS:FIRST, PACKAGING - I read a review where someone mentioned it came in such a small package they sent back because obviously not thick enough. Well, I loved the packaging. Comes in a zippered case and within that case, my full/queen was VACUUM sealed, so that's why it didn't take up much space.THICKNESS - IT IS a lightweight blanket, but that's EXACTLY what I wanted for summer and fall.SOFTNESS - OMG, feels like a fluffy bunny.WASHING/DRYING - JUST washed it (on gentle, did a second rinse with extra liquid softener) and dried on low. Dried quickly and came out beautifully. There was almost NO lint in the lint trap.COLOR/SHEEN/SLICKNESS - It is a TOUCH more vibrant because of the sheen than the pic, but PERFECT. For me, DEFINITELY plum, just shiny. Looks expensive.For those who say it's slippery, I just tuck in the bottom, no prob with it falling off the bed.SIZE - I WAS WORRIED this would be too large for my FULL bed. I DO have a 14 inch mattress, no box springs, but a high platform bed. THIS DOES NOT hang down far at all. I wish it were a little longer as to keep it from slipping off the bed, I tuck the bottom in a bit, but then it doesn't come as far up to the top as I would prefer. Anyway, it certainly is NOT too big for full size mattress I have!NO REAL CONS, BUT the one concern I have is I have a cat that jumps on my bed. I read a review it can snag. And it is microplush and shiny and lightweight, but we shall see.Right NOW, no cons, but WILL UPDATE if ANYTHING CHANGES. I just got it, washed it and put on bed and so far, THRILLED.BOTTOMLINE: BETTER than I thought it would be. And it was on sale.

I bought this blanket thinking it would just be a good addition to a paint change in one of my rooms, add some color, and I ended up with one of the best blankets I have ever had. It is incredibly soft, warm, a great size, and a perfect weight. It is heavy enough that it settles down around you and creates a pocket of warmth, but not so heavy that the warmth is suffocating. Incredible blanket, will be purchasing more in the future.

Soft. Lightweight yet warm enough. Washes up nicely. Quality throw and a good price and value.

I bought the oversized king and let me tell you, it’s been a game changer for my nightly sleep. I’m a hot sleeper but I like to have something draped over me and this is light weight enough and I’m not fighting with my husband over who gets the blanket. It’s large enough to cover us both when sleeping. We both tend to sleep near the end of our side of the bed so we end up fighting over the sheets and blankets but now we both have plenty of blanket. Now if I could just find a sheet that does the same thing! Very nice quality. I see it lasting many years. I have the king version of this and I have washed it easily two dozen times and it still looks brand new and extremely soft. I would definitely recommend.

The blanket is soft warm and just the right size.

I first used a Bare blanket when I was working as a caregiver for a client who used one daily on his adjustable hospital bed. It washed well and kept its softness. I bought one for my king sized bed and have been so happy with its performance. It is lightweight but provides all the warmth I need during the night. I plan to purchase a Bare blanket for all our beds.

This is a wonderful summer blanket. It is so soft and cuddly. I recently returned a veluux blanket which was soft, but it had a strong “sour” smell that required several washings. This Bare blanket had no odor and there was no lint after washing. I would definitely highly recommend it. A great value for the price!

These are the best blankets I have ever seen. I've bought the different weights and textures, all fluffy and amazingly comfortable. I've given them to my sons and grandchildren, telling them when they wrap in them when I'm not there it's a hug from me. Hugs are super important to me, so I'd never place that honor on just any blanket! They ALL love them! It's a wonderful company too and feel good buying from them! Thanks for amazing comfort.

Love this huge, cuddly, light weight blanket. It’s big enough to cover floor to floor on our queen bed and doesn’t slip or slide; no more losing my covers when hubby rolls over! Hubby says not too hot for him (he loves a cold sleep); nice and cuddly for me (can’t handle any cold). Too soon to tell how well it holds up to washing and drying.

I felt that I paid a bit much for the twinXL BUT it washed/dried beautifully looking even better than when it came straight out of the package. It is well made and ultra soft as described so the quality is definitely there. I don’t use duvets finding them too warm so I opted for the size larger than a throw on days when I need the extra warmth on top of my muslin quilt. But I didn’t want to get it too big as I like the look of placing it on my bed like a throw when my bed is made. Overall pleased with my purchase.

I bought this to keep on my brand new couch until my new kitty’s zoomies have slowed down. It’s comfy, soft and washes well. Snuggly and warm and hasn’t snagged and doesn’t shed. I should have chosen a different colour, but that’s just personal preference.

Color Accuracy & Vibrancy 5/5The plum color is perfect! Really a deep shade of purple, which looks amazing in very bright light. In darker light rooms the purple won't come out as much, but it still looks great.Having Marine Blue, Light Blue or hot Pink pillows or smaller throw blanket sitting on top of this looks really great!Comfort & Softness 5/5If you are tired and lay down on this thing. Be prepared to engage in an unwilling nap!Washing & Maintenance 5/5Super easy to wash, some heavier blankets might give your washing machine a bit of a challenge (As they get super heavy when wet) but this one is totally manageable!Durability 4/5If you have pets that like to kneed, might want to keep them away from this blanket though. My cat did kneed a little bit when she discovered the knew sofa blanket. And she managed to nick a strand of the weave. But it still is holding it's ground! But I keep a smaller blanket that I throw on the sofa when she comes purring around the corner. The blanket looks so good I want to keep it that way!ConclusionFor the price it seems like a really great deal.
