It’s been really hard to find ways to distract my cats when I’m working or doing chores, so I decided to give this a try. It went way better than expected and he never wants it to be off. It is a little noisy which I thought would scare him away from it, but he’s addicted. I call it his “vroom vroom” and the second those words come out of my mouth he is screaming for me to turn it on

Our adult cat jumped on this when I took it out of the box and turned it on. It takes 3 AA batteries, and has about 4 settings (slow, med, fast, random) and a blue light on top that flashes when the batteries are running low. It's durable, as my cat has manhandled the toy underneath. The arm-toy sometimes unscrews itself, so you have to screw it back on, but that only takes a second and does not happen every time. It runs for several minutes, then shuts off automatically. It would be nice for it to be motion-sensitive to the cat, since he does get bored sometimes and walks away, and it will burn battery juice all that time. He now mostly likes to sit and watch it (like TV), but occasionally we'll see him still POUNCE on it, and he gets really excited. Our cat is easily bored, so it's a great toy if it can still keep him interested!

My vet recommended this product, so I bought it, hoping to invigorate my indoor eight year-old tuxedo cat. It took a few days for her to warm up to it, but now she enjoys lying down in front of it and batting the rotating fluff. The only problem I had was that the wand would unwind itself often, so I just wrapped a little 1/2inch teflon tape twice around the stem and screwed it back on. So far, it is hoping firm.

I would give this product zero stars but my cats love it so much that I have to commend the makers on making a really fun product for the kitties, however, it dies all the time! I have changed the batteries at least 4 times since November. And no, it's not my batteries. They are new Duracells. I bought this because a similar toy that we had broke. We had the old toy at least 13 years, and in that entire time I may have changed the batteries once! I bought another electronic toy around the same time as this, and I still haven't changed the batteries on that. I know they don't make products these days like they used to, but come on, 4 battery changes in 5 months is ridiculous! I should have returned it in the return period, but as I mentioned my cats just love it so much.🤦‍♀️

I was afraid he would shred this as he is a very rough player but so far I’ve had no issues. He loves it! Great toy for active cats!

This is the only toy my 6 year old cat plays with.I have bought 6 in the last year. It’s a great toy but the wand stops spinning around. The motor still runs but that’s all it does.This really needs to be made to last longer as they are not cheap.I stopped at pet store and bought another one, same toy, same company. Put batteries in and it worked. Supposed to run 10 minutes and shut off. Which it did. Went to turn on an hour later and the and won’t move, the motor runs but the wand doesn’t!I will not be buying this toy anymore, I can not keep buying at this price, which is sad for my cat because he really enjoys it.

I have the same brand name toy from about 15 to 20 years ago. Yes, it is still going. My cats are playing with both the new and the old one right now. I just ordered extra wands, as I know my one cat will destroy the fluffy one that came with this toy. I have recently purchase a few of these of different brands and have had to replace one and throw one out that quit after three months. That's why I searched and bought the same brand as my old one. I'm attaching a picture of the old one, just to show you it has been a much loved and much played with toy and continues offering my pets hours of fun. Like I said, I just hope the new one has as long a life.
