This isn't going to make me sound like the most intelligent person around... but here goes!My wife and I had our house built a little over ten years ago. Our computer desks have been sitting here in the office area for ten years. I've had my reading glasses and my favorite pen and pencil sitting around on the desk for TEN YEARS!!!Every single time I sit down to do anything on the computer, I slip off my bifocals and put on my peepers. For those of you that aren't old, like me, "peepers" or "cheaters" are reading glasses. Yes, my bifocals work OK... but my peepers keep me from having to tilt my head up in order to see clearly through the lower portion of my glasses. So, I put on peepers when I use my computer.All that in order to say this! I'm CONSTANTLY looking around for my peepers and my favorite pen and pencil when I sit down at my desk. Because each time I use them... I set them down in a different location. Is it that big of a deal? No! But it sure is nice having all three of those items located in the same spot each and every time I sit down to do some work.Now, the embarrassing thing is that I NEVER even thought about putting a mug on my desk and putting my glasses and writing utensils in it! How in the WORLD didn't I think of that? I consider myself a fairly intelligent person... I designed and wrote computer code for a living and was pretty successful at it. I don't know HOW I didn't think of something as simple as that... for TEN YEARS!?!?!? Oh well.When I saw the design of this pencil/glasses holder it made me smile. Not a whole lot of items I look at make me smile... so that's saying something. It was simple... yet humorous. The design is quite clever in that it allows you to hold your pencils and pens as well as your glasses... BUT... your glasses are not in danger of being scratched whilst putting them into, or taking them out of, the holder. VERY clever of the designer/sculptor.The texture is quite appealing. It's one of those sensorial type of things that just makes it enjoyable to touch (for me, at least). Not that you're going to be touching it a lot... but it does feel nice. It's just heavy enough that you know it's not going to tip over if you just happen to brush up against it accidentally. But it's not so heavy that you're afraid it might scratch the surface of your desktop if you move it around. PLUS, they have added a nice piece of something (foam maybe?) to the bottom in order to keep it from scratching anything.It is well made... and, it continues to bring a smile to my face each and every time I sit down at my computer desk.To be up front... I DID receive this item in exchange for my unbiased review. Did it change my review of the item? Not a bit. And I'll even add this in... I probably would have purchased this item even if I didn't receive it for free. It's THAT fun and useful!

This is great! The quality is nice and the holder is heavy so it can hold a lot and doesn't fall over. It also holds up my glasses nicely and it looks so funny in my space. I was able to fit a good amount of pens, or a few remotes, etc. inside of it. Definitely love how silly and functional it is.

Well I updated from an old glass to a face that stares back at me all the time. Now I don't have to go looking for my computer glasses. If the Easter Island theme is for you than you will like this.

I got this mainly to use as an eyeglass holder. I use reading glasses at my desk and regular glasses when I'm not. This keeps them corralled and organized in a cute way on the desk. Plus it doubles as a pen holder. I like it.Construction quality is quite good. It says it is made of resin but it looks and feels more like a ceramic. The surface is very smooth and has a nice feel. I could not find any blemishes or faults with mine.

I absolutely love this product. I get so many compliments from everyone who visits my office. The quality of this is extremely durable and the features on it are very unique. I would highly recommend this if you have an office and would like a small statement piece.

I have this on my bedside table and it’s cute and keeps my glasses right where I need them.
