I purchased this doll head for my granddaughter to learn how to care for hair. The hair does have expected shedding. However, I was not expecting the hair to have an order. It took 4 separate hair washings and conditioners to rid the hair of the odor. These washings and conditioning made the hair easier to work with. We forgot to purchase a strong stand so we had to purchase one before she could begin. The hair is easy to braid and corn roll. She is learning to use the flat iron and blow-dryer. So far so good. She is having a lot of fun learning. I recommend this product.

The doll hair is really easy to braid, the hair looks good, the hair is thick, the dolls hair has a lot of durability, the texture feels like synthetic hair, and there is a lot of shedding.

It definitely does a lot of shedding and you have to use high quality products when wash and blow drying to revamp it and keep it up. If you don’t it definitely gets hard and brittle. The stand and clamp are awesome and a definitely come in handy. This would not be something for an adult unless money is tight. If not a better hair textured quality head can bought.

I am a mom to my 9-year-old biracial son. I was teaching myself to brain corn rows and this was the perfect trick! I was able to get in ample practice without him sitting for hours while I tug and pull his hair. After watching some YouTube tutorials and practicing on this head (WITH real hair), I can now braid his hair no problem! I recommend.

This mannequin is one of the best I gotten! It doesn’t shed is really thick and full, and the quality is amazing!

It's good and I love the length and its good for practicing but it sheds too much.
