These pills are easy to swallow. Being Vegan was reassuring that there were no nasty animal bits in there that even a meat eater might not eat.I've been taking them for a few days and I'd like to say there has been a difference in my joints, but my joint pain is up and down so I can't say for sure, only longer term will tell. Being a lady "of a certain age", I was familiar with hyaluronic acid as a popular ingredient in beauty creams, but didn't know much about it as a supplement.Initially, I was not that keen, but did a bit of reading, and found there is some scientific support for supplementation; not just for skin health, but possibly joint health too.If I can take a "beauty" pill that might also be good for my joints, what's not to like?The pot came with a safety seal - everything you'd expect from a reputable manufacturer.The off-white capsules (lighter than they appear on the product page) are fairly large, but on a par with several other supplements I've tried lately, so I wouldn't call them particularly huge.In any case, the smooth and shiny shape makes them relatively easy to swallow, and I find them tasteless and odourless.The daily dose is two capsules, to be taken with food. The dosing information is per 2-pill serving, NOT per pill. One serving contains 250mg hyaluronic acid plus 25mg Vitamin C, which supposedly enhances effectiveness.You get 90, so sufficient for 45 days. I do not know if this will be long enough to see (or feel) any results.Some studies I looked at suggested AT LEAST one month, and I've only just started, so it's much too early to say.The manufacturer makes much of their claim to offer the purest (but NOT necessarily strongest) hyaluronic acid supplement on Amazon, but it was the work of two minutes to find someone offering even purer (95% compared to 90%). So this may be a claim that has simply not aged well, with new products launching all the time.In any case, as a layperson, I cannot tell whether the fixation with purity is really important. It is at least relevant to value for money; you want to know you're buying *mostly* the active ingredient, not impurities. But will my body notice the difference between 90 and 95% pure? I don't know.

I was recommended a more expensive branded Hyaluronic Acid supplement after some surgery. On checking I realised that that was half the strength of this and 6 x the price. This is by far the better option!

Compared to similar products, I would say it's more expensive but it might be worth it for the quality.The capsules are easy to swallow, and in a tub, there are 45 servings. At this price, it's about 60p each.I would recommend it to those who value quality, but I think there are better deals.
