Went well
One locksmith told me he could not guarantee a download for $75. He tried to get me to order a Ford FOB thru him for $225 or risk the $75 on a maybe. A second mobile locksmith did it and cut the key for $125. It works like a charm. He did tell me Ford made it expensive for LS to buy the software for '21 and newer F-150s. He did say that their current programming will work on F-250, F-350, & F-450 until 2023. And of course, Ford made it more expensive again to help the dealers out. I would check with a locksmith first. But overall, a solid product.

The Ford dealer was able to program the remote and cut the key. Although, the dealer was skeptical it would work. 5 Stars.

It works!
I opened up the fob to check it out and the inside hade the FoMoCo stamping, looks to be OEM equipment. The Korum ford in Puyallup were asses though, they would only program the fob, they refused to cut the key! Your better off supporting a local locksmith, they should be able to do both. I gave it 4 stars because the tailgate button is a little stiff when you press it.

Ford couldn’t even get it to work!
Brought it to ford they were able to get it programmed but none of the buttons work. Only works when put in receptor in cup holder.

Wouldn’t program
Tried multiple ways to program this key. My truck just wouldn’t work with it. I also checked the battery to insure it was charged (I have a battery tester). Battery charge was strong. Key just wouldn’t program. I returned it. I’m giving it a two star because the description says it’s compatible with my vehicle and it wasn’t. Great shipping and easy return. If it would have worked I was planning on buying more…
