These are perfect for Mama's with young kids!
I can't recommend this product enough! You'd never know that it wasn't brand new and that it's a refurbished product.I got this for my soon to be 3-year-old sons Christmas. I've been using it and setting it up for him and have had no issues whatsoever. This was an awesome choice for a first tablet for him because it was half the price of the kids fire 7, and there are tons of kids cases on Amazon that you can purchase to turn it into a bigger version of the kids Fire 7 except bigger and for a fraction of the price.I always buy my kids fire tablets, my 17-year old and 14-year-old kids also got fire tablets for Christmas as their first devices when they were 3 and 6 and they loved them.They really are a perfect choice for kids who are a little younger. I don't see the point in buying an expensive tablet for a toddler or young child when these work just as well and I actually prefer them for kids for several reasons, not least of which is Kids+ and the ability to link everything with my Amazon account so easily. We can access their Kindle books, the shows they like to watch on prime, and everything else. I like the parental controls as well. It's just a really seamless experience for a first tablet or device for a child. I can set limits and enforce quiet hours while still having something portable to take on errands and trips and for his limited screen time at home. He loves to play learning games on my phone and read books on my Kindle as well as watch Monster Jam and dirt bike kids videos on YouTube and watch his shows. So I know he'll be so excited to unwrap his gifts on Christmas morning to find that Santa has brought him the "big phone" he asked for.

Works great for watching my favorite shows and content.
I wanted a tablet that I could watch my favorite shows on, as well as listen to music and other content. This Amazon Fire HD 8 (8 inch screen) tablet works out great for me.I had an Amazon Fire in the past that I loved, but unfortunately the screen broke. So, I decided to get an upgraded model, and so far I'm really impressed with the quality and speed of the tablet. It works great, there's no lagging of the shows/movies I watch and the picture is very clear.I got a refurbished one (which to be honest, I was skeptical at first); but it came fast and works just as well as a totally brand new one. I like to use things for a long time, as to cut down on waste and to be made economical and eco-friendly. This worked well for a lot of reasons, and I also believe it's reasonable in price when comparing to other similar items on the market. It's been great so far, and I love it! 😊

Works well
I bought this for my mother who’s in her 70s. She’s able to use it easily and FaceTime family. Great picture quality on videos and the perfect size. As far as storage she doesn’t use the storage, she mainly just gets onto to look on Facebook.

Love so far!
The media could not be loaded. It didn’t come with google play store but I found a YouTube video on how to install and it was so easy but the processors are slower then I’d like on the tablet it kept crashing while on the website. After installing it I added the real YouTube app that lets me download videos unlike the Amazon store one.I bought it refurbished so I’m not sure if the speed was an effect due to this but I just needed this tablet for my son on car rides and that’s it. So far it has saved our sanity. Haha. The WiFi connects with ease, even connected to our phone WiFi with ease. The screen seems good. I read one book so far on it and so far no issues. I added a memory card for I can transfer videos and pictures if needed. Everything on setup up was easy. Storage capacity is perfect for our little needs. Not sure how much storage we need until he’s older and wants games on it. So I’ll update when the time comes.

I use this to read my books. I absolutely love it.I know its an unpopular opinion but I prefer this tablet to a kindle for reading.Less expensive, color front covers of books and gives me the feel of holding an actual book with its weight being a bit more than an actual kindle.

Great device for a competitive price
The tablet is easy to use, clear crisp display, good size not too big and not to small, you can add extra storage if you need it with a sd card. This device was purchased as a kids fire tablet replacement for a case I had and it fit perfectly. Doesn’t lag at loading & the price is affordable for a good quality tablet, overall good buy. Keep your money
I purchased this refurbished Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet, and it has been nothing but trouble. From the moment I started using it, the issues became apparent. The tablet will not stay charged; it constantly turns on and off, making it almost unusable. To make matters worse, it won’t connect to the Internet at all, which defeats the purpose of having a tablet.When I tried to reach out to Amazon for support, I was met with frustration. They claimed that the tablet wasn't under my account, which is completely false. All I wanted was a simple refund or an exchange, but instead, I was given a hard time.I strongly advise other customers to think twice before purchasing this item. Save your money and avoid the hassle—this refurbished tablet is not worth

Ten Years of Progress
Replaced my 2015 Fire 7 as it didn't support Libby. Bought a refurbished 2022 HD-8 64Gbyte for 58 bucks. This newer display is amazing clear. Works fine and is faster. Fast enough I can get my email on it if I want,
