Useless for my purpose.Bought this to attach to my music stand to magnify sheet music.The clip and gooseneck are too heavy causing it to fall forward.This item is well built and the magnifier is large and clear.This would do well for reading a book or similar media.There are many uses for this item unfortunately not for magnifying sheet music.

This piece of plastic does enlarge a visible shape. What it does not do is magnify what one is looking at. I was unable to read any text through this lens. Fine work or reading are not possible with this object. I am now using the camera on my cell phone for detailed magnification.

Returned it. It seemed a little flimsy and fuzzy, and the arm is very short. Ok quality if it's cheap enough. I preferred to go with a more traditional magnifier with a little longer arm.

Sturdy, adjustable magnifier

The adjustable neck is just to short to comfortably get the magnifier centered over the book. The clip needs a narrow flat chair arm to work or a high side table right next to your chair. There's no room for an upholstered arm. Also due to the shortness of the adjustable arm you can not anchor it to something close to chair because the adjustable arm with not clear the diameter of your thigh (even being a size small) with enough room to magnify. If you're reading in bed with a laptop tray it should work fine.

I was excited to find this magnifier at such a great price. I did my research before choosing this one. However, when it arrived, I found the material was so flimsy, it snapped (broke) the first time I tried to use it. Very disappointing.

I like it because you can also removed the clip if you don't need it. Great for reading!

If you don’t have any eye problems, this is a great magnifier for you, but for people that have slight eye problems are blind in one eye not so great. This is a Fraser lens which has a series of sparrows in the plastic which interferes with hurt people like me they can’t see through it very well, the visual lines in the lens cause more problems trying to see something. Might be OK for some but not good for people with I promise you’re better off getting getting one with a glass lens which is what I had to do and gave this to a relative. They’re OK with it.
